NFL Europe

We never really have made full use of NFLE IMO. Next year I think we send a big group... including:

1. Drew Henson- he just needs to play.
2. Crowder/Copper- See above
3. MArc Columbo- Let him work his way back into shape
4. NAte Jones- Send him as a FS
5. Pepper Johnson- Needs to play
6. Suisham- Worked for Parcells and kickers before
7. Gurode- Needs as much working at center as possible to challenge Al.

He needs the experience more than anyone.

I would not send Gurode to NFLE.

1) No on Drew Henson, they need to quit playing with his machanics. He ain't going to NFL Europe, that chance passed away this year.

3) Columbo is 1st round pick, he ain't going to NFL Europe when Parcells saids he needs 1.5-2 years to get back in shape.

5) Pepper Johnson is ready now, its just that he has two pro-bowl type DT infront him.

7) Who the heck would send a Center who has played few games as Center in NFL to NFL Europe?? That would be pretty stupid, especially since that means the HC has put the team in Jeopardy putting that guy in live NFL game in first place.

All in all, thats pretty no go list. Other than Crowder, I dont see anyone in there going to NFL Europe.

Henson isn't going -- I don't think BP believes Europe helps QBs -- Henson's problem is the speed of the game -- and Europe isn't much faster than the college game -- in fact, it might be slower than big time college play.
