I agree. Don't think we're gonna win that game. Been lucky to win these last two games. The offense looks like crap now but at the least defense is dependable.

i dont agree, for some reason, we always play bad against bad teams, and step up our game against good teams. I think we will be in it, and might pull it out if we dont get to many flags

I agree as well. Very, very difficult game for us to pull out. The good news is that the Giants play at Seattle next weekend, so it looks like they'll be in for just as difficult a ballgame as us.

I think we had better pick up the pace on offense or we're looking at a hellacious beating.

Cowboys - 35
Broncos - 17

Why? Becuase that is the score that I always pick.

Besides that, it does seem that we always play better against better opponents and sloppy against bad ones.....hopefully, the Jets beat up on the Broncos.

Parcells just said he's happy to win but the team still doesn't get it. He said that's bad because they play a damn good team on Thanksgiving, and thinks the Broncos are the best team they've faced yet this year.

Boy, I hope the Cowboys don't embarass me on Turkey Day.

Tough call to make. At the moment Denver is still playing....they could lose a couple of players to injury.

However, we do seem to play to the same level or just above the team we are playing. We can raise our game for Denver. If we can stop their running game I like our chances with Plummer at QB.

I see NO innovation on D rushing the passer...Oh I saw Ware rushing from inside a few times so I should take back none but if we don't become better getting to the QB a good offense like Dever will beat us unless we get a few more turnovers or ST points...

I think we lose 24-7

The defense has struggled to stop the run recently and Denver is one of the best running teams in the game. I think they run the ball all over this young defense. I think this will be a hard lesson for the youg players and one that will leave them with a bitter taste going into the next week.

Yes I am worried about Denver's running game vs Dallas's defense

Saddle hanging in the locker room this week. In for a rough ride but to ride high into the playoffs we need to tame the Broncos.

Talentwise the Broncos are not close to the best we have played. But this may be the best coach we have faced.

Bronco's doing it with smoke and mirrors. Hopeful we don't fall prey to their trap.

I am really amazed at how many here are picking Denver to beat us - basically saying Dallas has no chance. Most saying Denver runs too well and is a bad matchup for us.

I don't think you're giving the Dallas D enough credit. Dallas is gonna be a tough matchup for Denver. We are a bruising ball control team as well. The Giants beat this team for crying out loud. Denver is also playing a tough tough road game on 3 days rest. Dallas is having home cooking.

Close game maybe, but Denver is the one who should be sweating this one out, not Dallas. Plus its freaking Jake Plummer. Or have you guys forgot about how this guy has played us in the past already.

I think we play Denver tough. My concerns about our team continue to grow however even with the win today. Our offensive line did better running the ball today but was poorer in pass protection. They are inconsistent and Tucker looks downright bad at times. Petitti was clearly shaken up for some time after ther knee to the head and we had no one trusted enough to step in even for a few plays. It seems to me we are one injury away from a disaster on the OL.

I couldn't agree more. I was more nervous about todays "trap" game than Thursdays Denver game. It's our house on Thanksgiving. Thursday.. were the underdog in a game that many feel were not "supposed" to win. Our energy and mentality will be completely different. I expect Dallas to play like they want to make a statement as a legit contender. This is an AFC opponent and we don't really have a great deal of pressure with this one. This defense is way better than even the '03 #1 D. Dallas must find a way to get the timing down on offense.

Jake "the Fake" had the game of his freaking life when a concussion-saturated Aikman, gutting it out out behind an absolutely horrid O-line, was on his last legs.

many neglect to notice the reason Plummer built a rep for late-game heroics was his propensity for the bonehead mistake in the games first 55-or-so minutes.

Dallas needs to pick their shots starting early and bring the kitchen sink when they do. Plummer gets happy feet when rattled... and that's when good things will happen for our D.

I said before this 3-game stretch I feared the Detroit game more than the other 2 and I still feel that way.

The Cowboys never play Detroit well - save last year - but so far this year they have played their best games against the better teams on the schedule and I think that continues Thursday.

Maybe it's the eternal optimist in me when it comes to this team, but for some reason, as bad as the Cowboys played yesterday I kept thinking they sand-bagging waiting for Thursday.

I see Bill pulling out the stops Thanksgiving and the Cowboys going to bed 8-3.

The key will be keeping them in passing situations. Philly has been the only teams to torch us against the run. And I think they took us by surprise because they basically had no rushing attack prior to that game.

I think Bill will have the defense ready for the denver running attack. And we our at home and we seem to play better against better teams.

If we can stop LT, Portis, Alexander, and Barber, we can stop Mike Anderson!! Its hard for me to predict this game. I'm a bit leary of this game... Dallas has had some trouble against the run and the LB's will have to come up big to fill and control the cutback. The key here is on the other side of the ball, Dallas must be able to run the ball. I don't think either of these teams match up well against each other on the outside with their receivers.

Being at home helps, but this game may just come down to attitude and toughness in the trenches.

JJ's analysis:The Cowboys seem to be building more and more momentum each week. They will have a super test on Thanksgiving against the Broncos. Drew Bledsoe is having a great year despite the fact that Detroit took away his deep passing game on Sunday.

I can see Dallas coach Bill Parcells saying to himself, "My defense is good enough; so I'm going to just pound the ball." He can be really stubborn. But you could tell he really wanted to get Julius Jones untracked in this ball game.

My analysis
Drew Bledsoe's passing game vs. the 28th ranked passing defense. I like our odds if Parcells doesn't decide to "pound the ball" like he did against Detroit. I like JJ and MB but this game is tailor made for Drew's arm.

people, in 2001, we only lost to them by two points on US Thanksgiving when we had Ryan Leaf as the QB, Troy Hambrick as the RB (I think Smith was injured in the game) and bonehead Dave Campo who thought we had a better chance to score two TDs and a FG in 10 minutes than two TDs with two two point converts. He went for two PATs and we lost by two points.

Our team now is miles ahead of that team and the Broncos are still basically the same.

It won't be easy but we are equal to them and are at home, therefore, we win.

No one is "excited" about them, its that they are the only team in the NFL that does the SAME damn thing every week an NO ONE can stop them. They impose their will on you in every facit of the offensive gameplan.

And New York has the same record as us, yet has played an extra home game. Yes, I see your point, HUGE advantage

Any thoughts differently are blind reverse-homerism.

Is that like Double Secret Probation?

Well, I've never heard of Double Secret Probation, or even Secret Probation.

But if it means you have a bias against your own team because you don't want to be known as a homer, then it's exactly the same.

I just threw in the "blind" part because he did.

Tatum Bell is injured for DEN, we are at home, this game isnt really important to DEN, considering they are the 2nd best team in the AFC behind INDY, The defense is playing well, we only allow 11.4 PPG AT HOME, and i just have this feeling, the same feeling i get when we are about to play good teams, i have a feeling that we'll win, and NO im not being a homer, its just a feeling i get, and when the games over, the outcome is usually a win, with all that said, i say we get tons on crowd noise, disrupting DEN's plan and we win
DAL-17
DEN-14
in overtime

These teams are too good to finish in regulation

Cowboys 24 Denver 20

The Cowboys are due to play a great game. They were lucky to win the last two, but those were the games we should have lost, not this one. It's not like we can't get back on track and keep winning. This game for all intents and purposes clinches a playoff spot, barring disaster.

The Broncos are 8-2 in the AFC (The far superior conference). We would NOT be 7-3 if we played in the AFC.

How do you figure this? The NFC has a better combined record. Dallas opponents thusfar's record: 50-50. They have played 6 home games and are 6-0, but their average home game was versus a team that had a losing record. They have played 4 road games and lost 2. Their average home score: 29-14 win. Their average road score 21-21.

Dallas average home score: 23-11 win

The AFC is 20-20 combined vs. NFC teams.

Denver's opponents record is 50-50 rather, Dallas is 47-53.

I would say that difference is pretty insignificant ;)
