Sloppy Domination....
Bledsoe was unwatchable....backpeddling - short hopping passes...barely getting an ince when he's 6 '6' on QB sneaks....throwing flat footed....I'm not sure he didn't hurt himself on that ankle roll.
Julius was so - so ...fumbled going down easily looking slow and winded at times, poor in pass blocking - looked real tentative.
Keyshawn and Glenn were subpar
Witten was poor - seems to always slip down not making the BIG play this season.
Barber is excellent down in the RZ but poor on 3 and 1
Parcells and co calling 3 straight Dives at the Goal Line was both asinine and absurd.
Thanks to poor Detroit discipline we won.
We will get absolutely HAMMERED on Turkey Day if we pull this crap on Thursday...HAMMERED. I cannot stomach the thought of another Miami debacle.
We've Stunk 2 weeks in a row now.

I think this was a game that they just had to win....
It was similar to when the NY Giants went to the coast a few weeks ago to play the 49ers...just get the win.
Then look at what happened to them when they played the Vikings.
So, while I would have liked a domination of the Lions today...I'm ok with this...
I think we're a good team...we're not elite yet....
Next season...

Hey Van, if the future is now then be happy about our 7-3 record. This IS the new NFL..you take wins however you get them.
I suppose you'd be happier if they were 5-5 but they looked better to your eyes....Gimme a break.

Well, if we can achieve elite status this year, ok...I won't be disappointed. It ain't gonna happen though.
Fortunately, there's only one elite team now, the Colts.

You do not have to be elite to get to the BOWL from the NFC.

Whatever the case - Key & Glenn are the oldest tandem in the NFL - throw in Bledsoe and you can make that the oldest trio.

Teams now are mostly a blend of experienced vets and kids.
I'm worried about Key but Bledsoe and Glenn look like they got a few years left.
LA has 9 lives - it'll be a bit of a relief when he is done because we can use that cap space better.

I viewed this game as both a trap game (big games the week before on MNF against Philly, and the Thanksgiving game against Denver) for ya'll, not to mention a letdown game, its hard to rise up the next Sunday after an emotional late win on MNF.
Yeah, ya'll looked pretty sloppy, but you got the W, and I have a hard time believing that ya'll will look that bad on Thursday.

Go to a very high point in a buildin/bridge and jump.
I saw a Dallas defense that shut Detroit down.
A running game reemerge
a 20-7 win to bring ust to 7-3
But yes, we can play better and that encourages me.

Game on a short week like this is always tough, particularly coming off an emotional win like the one in Philly. This might as well have been a 35-0 thing of beauty, as far as I'm concerned. I don't care. At the end of the year, how doesn't matter.

Yeah, I don't think it's too terrible that we are on pace to get 1,900 yards and 14 TDs out of the two starting wideouts. That, from an offense that is third in rushing attempts coming into today's action. Not too shabby.

is it just me or does Dallas look like a finesse offense forced into "powerball" mode? square peg - round hole... time to build the O-line.

Hey Frank, thank you for your gracious posting.
I can't be too optimistic about Thursday tho..just saw on the Denver-NY game that the Broncos have been preparing for US since last Thursday.
Good luck to your team the rest of the way.
LTN - Ouch
The Jets are officially the worst team in the NFL. Do they ever score? Poor Vinny is just padding his stats and Blanda is starting to worry.
Great win today - we are 7-3 and #2 seed in NFC!

I haven't really seen us dominate anyone lately. The only teams we have beat solidly (Eagles, Cards, Lions) are pretty mediocre.
I think the Denver game will be an eye opener for this team.

Well that's why they play the games - Denver will definitely have some disadvantages with the game in Dallas.
I'd be thrilled in the D plays well but I don't see us doing well against the Denver stretch play. The key will be the offense getting some big plays against their blitzing defense.

At the time we played them they seemed formidable but have proved to be pretty mediocre in the end.
