Offensive penalty helps the offense

It just doesn't seem right that a penalty against the offense helps the offense.

Today an offensive penalty brought back our INT for a TD by Glenn.

I have seen similar things like this before.

I know the rules and all, but somehow that just doesn't sit well with me.

I agree to a point, but the play was called dead before it even happened. Technically, the ball should never have been allowed to be thrown.

it wasnt an offensive penlty, a false start ends the play, their where wistles before the play happened, the play just happened anyways.

you could hear the whistles well before the ball was thrown. It is not really an issue since players probably quit on the play anyway.
