Just a couple of quotes...
-"Yes, It's OVER! We are once again looking at next year with the same problems and No 1st round draft pick!"
-"Well, good bye dude. I don;t know what to say, i've been a loyal fan for 14 years and this is how they keep re-paying me."
-"....congratulations to all of us today...we now know where we stand...we suck...horrible playcalling...no runs by cp in what seems like the whole second half even though he was on his way to 130 day at halftime...nice job Joe
We had no heart today. The skins are now done. We don't deserve any playoff talk or anything the rest of the year. I predict we will only three more games this year and give the Broncos a great pick.
Thanks skins you have just freed up the rest of my Sunday afternoons.
Until next year guys, I wish all extremeskins and their families happy and safe holidays. Spend your Sunday's with those who you love and happy New Year to you all.
Thanks and god bless."
-"No excuses we suck. Considering our performance here is the rest of the season for you guys so you dont have to watch pitful football and can find something better to do on Sunday
Chargers L
St Louis L
Arizona W
Dallas L
NY L
Philly W
Enjoy."

So what this seams to be the norm for football fans on internet message boards. Quotes similar to theses were coming from posters on this board before we came back and beat Philly last Monday. I disagreed with these posters and they all started attacking me. Majority of posters on any message board out there are whiny fake fans

I can still post there. I am civil, I dunno how I do it. I guess I just mix my hatred of them in there a bit subliminally. I will say, they have a few fans over there who aren't half bad to talk football with (for skins fans), but alot of homers. Guess this place is one and the same.

I notice Bubba still hasn't addressed us directly in that one thread about the Cowboys victories being "flukes" since we confronted him with some facts. That seems to be their Kryptonite over there.

course not. He's a moron. He knows his **** when he wants to, Ill give him that, but he's so blind, and such a homer, he won't ever have a sensible argument. Alot of SKins fans seem to forget the close calls they have had this year, when they eeked out the win.
As a Dallas fan, I still think we might be owed one get out of jail free card, but then again, we almost lost to SF...at 7-3, i might just have to settle with takig SF and Philly for Washington and Seattle.

Regarding the close calls in our games this year Billy, that's kind of how I see it too. I directly "trade off" the Skins loss w/ the Philly victory. Additionally, we have to admit that in the Skins loss we were physically beaten by Brunell and Moss both times, no excuses, although there seemed to be a borderline non-call for holding being done on Greg Ellis on that 2nd heave from Brunell.
The Seattle game is unfortunately kind of the same thing. Hasselbeck, Urban, etc. beat the Dallas D down the field fair and square to tie that game, and although the Bledsoe interception was very unfortunate, I sensed we were on our way into some trouble in overtime anyhow the way the last 2 minutes of the game had gone.

Well Seattle barely beat SF. But Philly and Washington both destroyed them. So scores basically mean nothing. It's the wins and losses that count at the end of the day.

If I was still angry over those close calls, I'd be dead by now. I'm happy with where we are at. Watching this team for the last 10+ years, I've learned, be happy when we are winning more than we are losing. I got into the team during the early 1990's, can you blame me? Got fam out in Texas, and i was like 6 or 7. My actual following of the team has consisted with more bad days than good.
And if you go over there, I state that Ellis was probaly held, but since we put ourselves in a position where the refs could cost us the game, it's our fault. We lost that game. Just like Washington lost some of their close calls. They ran all over Oakland today. I dunno why with the score tied, tehy got away from Portis.

I havent went in there yet today, are there not 100's of posts of how the refs cost them another game yesterday and that they'd be 9-1 or 10-0 if they had only received "fair" officiating?

What I do not understand is how they could all be so disappointed when they should have known that the team was not going anywhere this year.
I had them pegged as a five hundred team at best, so if they finish there, they should be happy.
The problem appears to be that they all jumped off into the deep end of the optimism pool after their cheap victory against us.

Save your time, I am sure they are there. But they were missing the usual vigor however. Most of the time there are grainy Zapruder films, graphs, pie charts, diagrams and out of focus screen shots, but the conspiracy theorists got drowned out by the wrist slashers after this one.

the sobering part of this all...
If we cant take care of business against the Broncos and the Skins get their ducks in a line, they're only a game behind us.
