IMO, we have not utitlized Witten to his potential so far. We're dumping off to him, rather than focusing on him. I think he can get deep down the middle and along the sideline - you can even split him out.
I'd like to see him have Novacek like 7-8 Catch day and a TD.

Hes having to help our O line block. I wish we could use him more but Bledsoe cant throw the ball from his back.
He's being asked to Block and teams are focused on him.....
Thats where Glenn, Crayton, Price have to make them pay.

And yet, somehow, Witten is on pace for 763 yards (which Novacek never had) and 64 receptions (which Novacek had once in 11 seasons).

Novacek played in an offense 5 x's better and was a better 3rd down option than Witten and also could get deeper - not to mention Novacek was harder to tackle...Witten is a "slipper"

I'd love to see the Cowboys press the Broncos' D with the deep pass. Put Glen / Priice on the same side, run combo routes - keep the D thinking deep pass. Denver's pass rush doesn't scare anyone and I really don't think the max protect package will be as necessary as it has been in previous games, so I think the focus on the deep ball early will open up the middle/underneath for Whitten/Key/Campbell.
