DENVER (AP) - Broncos tailback Tatum Bell practiced Tuesday and was listed as questionable with a bruised chest for Denver's Thanksgiving Day game against Dallas.
Bell hurt himself in the third quarter of Denver's win against the Jets on Sunday. A native of the Dallas area, he said he wants to play against the Cowboys.
"We'll see how he's doing tomorrow,'' coach Mike Shanahan said. "I don't think we'll know for sure until we get ready for the game.''
The Broncos have used Bell frequently as a backup and change of pace for starter Mike Anderson. Bell has 640 yards this season. He and Anderson (782 yards) remain on pace to each surpass 1,000 yards.
Kicker Jason Elam was also on the injury report, listed as probable with a strained calf. Elam hurt his calf while warming up for the Jets game.
Shanahan said he expects Elam to be available Thursday.

Hes a home run threat, bt they would still be a godo running team w/o him.
the good news is Anderson carried 25 times Sunday, so he might be a little beat and Ron Dayne might some carries, or Cecil Sapp, actually I think Sapp is probably higher on their depth chart

I don't know why there is so much concern over Tatum Bell. If he's out, we'll just get a bigger dose of Mike Anderson.
There is no upside for us. Mike Anderson is their number 1 RB for a reason and he's 100% healthy.
