How about...what a difference a few free agent signings make!

Are we supposed to be comforted by this? Because right now, I don't see us any closer to finding our franchise QB than we were last year. I've been impressed by Bledsoe this year and I wouldn't be surprised if he has another good year in him, but after that I reckon we'll be back at square one.

Or how about 2 years ago this week. Bill was getting all choked up.. "you cant <sniff> call em losers anymore <sniff>".

Well ya, we kinda coulda as it turned out because from the Carolina game that prompted his comments, til the start of this year, we were like 8-14. But anyways..

Parcells ate the cheese in 2003.

If we get our 8th win tomorrow, I don't think we'll get that reaction from BP. He learned his lesson the hard way last time. If he gets choked up and says the same thing again, I'll have to ride to Valley Ranch myself and have a talk with the guy.

I'll bet money that JJT is preparing to ask BP if we can't call them losers anymore if we win tomorrow. JJT will likely get an earful from Parcells if he asks.

The point is that he's better than Vin or Drew Jr. Long-term solution? No, but better than the alternatives.

Ya I didnt like it when he did that either. And you're right, it wont happen again. Lotta good it'd do if you then go up to Jerzey and get your lunched handed to you like happened in that Miami game.

The Henson hype sure has died down. He seems to be merely an afterthought

The point is that he's better than Vin or Drew Jr. Long-term solution? No, but better than the alternatives. But it's still no comfort. One could have reasonably argued that Vinny was better than Quincy. At least last year, there was the palpable excitement of seeing a young, highly-touted QB play. Don't get me wrong, things on the whole are way better this year and it's certainly nice to see us in playoff contention. But as for the long-term QB picture, I'm still not convinced.

Based on his play so far this year, and given the fact that we have a relatively young nucleus of good players (minus our two starting WRs), I think Bledsoe looks rejuvenated and hungry. I would give him a few more years.

Who knows? A Lombardi or two could make him even hungrier.

You may be right, but I bet many Buffalo supporters felt the same way after his first year there.

Bledsoe did not have the same type of supporting cast in Buffalo. They had an offense that had a porous O-Line and they depended on the deep ball. Bledsoe took a lot of hits and wound up throwing a few interceptions along the way. In Dallas he hasn't had to scramble (better protection) and the defense is providing for better field position. The Bills were a better team with him than they are without him now. Dallas is a better team with him, no question.

Well let's hope that protection keeps up here, because if it breaks down, we could see a return to last year's form (from Bledsoe.) That's why I'd like for us to address the O-line in the draft, the same way we addressed the Defence this year.

actually, last year at this time, I had my hands all up in a very cold turkey's business.

so yeah, this year is better.

It's amazing what a decent offensive line can do. I wonder how many of these same Bills' fans believe that Bledsoe was a bigger problem than their awful offensive line?

Agreed, if we keep getting better on the OL.

Neither am I.......One good hit and Our QB situation could look ugly alot quicker than it took to start looking pretty good.
