This was a good thread theme from earlier in the season. I'm bringing it back. Based on the Buy or Sell segment from PTI. Answer buy or sell then ask your own question. In the event 2 people answer the question, go with the first question asked.
Buy or sell? Dallas can neutralize Larry Johnson this weekend?

Buy. Unfortunately, in situations where they key in on one aspect of the offense, they sometimes let the other one go free (for instance - the Eagles game. We stopped the pass all day, but allowed the run).
Buy or sell. The Cowboys can get to Trent Green against that monster line WHILE stopping Larry Johnson.

Buy, they've done a good job on opponents run games lately (all season really). Even if he gets 100 yards, if they keep him out of the endzone I'd consider him neutralized.
Buy or sell...Rob Petiti will start at RT next season.

I'm buying. Defenses don't like looking weak too often. Last two weeks put them in the negative spotlight. I look for them to make a statement early.

Buy, they've done a good job on opponents run games lately (all season really). Even if he gets 100 yards, if they keep him out of the endzone I'd consider him neutralized.
Buy or sell...Rob Petiti will start at RT next season.
Buy. We have much bigger fish to fry on the OLine, and rookie linemen RARELY start well. Lineman take a few seasons to peak - it has one of the largest learning curves on the team in transition from college to pro. Petitti looks like a real good prospect, regardless of some slip ups. Torrin Tucker did less 2 years ago and still started last year.
Buy or sell...we have a strong offensive focus in the offseason next year.

This is a trade off!
Dallas versus Larry Johnson. Dallas must defend well against the running game in general; featuring Larry Johnson. But that's just the beginning ...If Trent can connect with Hall, Gonzalez and Horn, it could be a long day.

Week 13 @ Giants:
Giants: 127 rush, 150 pass, 17 points
Even though our pass defense has been tight, we can't give Larry Johnson a 100 yard game. Most of the "experts" on ESPN thinks he's going to have a good game. I'm just saying we make a statement from the start of the game that he's not going to have a fun day.

Sell, I think Bledsoe has to take the Emphasis off T Glenn and spread it around and hit hot reads, because I think we will open up the offense this week based on BP's PC this week.

55 yards came in overtime against Denver. Other than that, Dallas really slowed down the Denver running game. It wasn't 24 points, it was 17 because the Denver defense scored.
The Giants averaged less than 4 yards a carry. The offense provided no help to the defense and put them in some bad field position. It wasn't 17 points, it was 10 because the Giants defense scored .
I will take the Cowboys defensive effort from the last two weeks. The key to this game will be creating something on offense and having solid special teams. The coverage teams have to keep Hall from being an impact and they also need to have some big returns.
I am buying the defense.

Sell, Glenn may have a great game against the Chiefs secondary. However that is only going to happen if the Chiefs are in position to win in the 3Q. The Chiefs secondary is not a feared bunch however they get more passes attempted on them than most teams in the league.
Denver has the most.

Buy.....JJ has got to concentrate on using his vision and instints rather and less on worrying about fumbling. That cradling the ball with two hands is great when you are about to be hit but it damn sure slows you down in the open(providing he can get into the open).
Who will be the defensive star for the "boys"?

Sell, without drug problems QC was still very inaccurate and made poor decisions with the ball in crucial situations.

I agree he is having a good season, but I think with the depth we have and the fact that Glover is not a true Nose guy, we will have Fergi play the nose more and see more of Pepper and Ratliff next year with the possibility of drafting abig guy in the middle.

sell. unfortunately. however it doesnt look good for Henson he may not even be here next year, and if he is, hopefully its as an afterthought at the 3rd qb spot.

Sell. I think Julius holds a slight edge. Both will be counted on the rest of this year and next. Even Tyson will gain more playing time next season.

Barry Sanders was a better RB than Emmitt Smith.
The reason Emmitt is in the record books is because he had a great supporting cast of players around him that permitted him to achieve was he has achieved.

The Moose Johnston is the main reason Emmitt is in the record books.

Buy...We have trouble with TE over the middle and Gonzalez is obviously good.

selling... our oline already has two young guys (Tucker is young in my opinion - still yella) mounting the outside, and Rivera although ok, seems to be getting pushed a little. Good thing is BP sees this now, but any changes will just add the "new scheme adjusting period" title to it. so unfortunately, we may have to wait til offseason for any real improvement here.
buy or sell.... We finally utilize more short game passes out of the backfield (not screens) but rather time the blitz short type passes to our Rbs and Tes?

Brees is not going anywhere, and Rivers does not want to leave one backup role for another backup role. Plus other teams will have a much bigger need and offer more for him like Fins Cards etc.

That's too bad because Henson needs to play under game conditions...even if it's NFL Europe. It's been way too long since he has seen game action on a regular basis.

I am not sure a case couldn't be made for Hollywood Henderson... he was LT before LT...the guy was as fast as some wideouts...as strong as some OT's...had he played in a 3-4...and kept himself off drugs it may have been we would be talking about him the way people talk about LT
