What's the "walk" you're referring to? I'm just throwing out some undeniable facts in this thread. There's been no opinion whatsoever. I was tweaking you a little with the pointless stat, but I admitted that much. They suck so bad they have the same record as the Cowboys. (Better if you don't count the game they played against the Chiefs.) They also lead the division.
Dallas has not beaten a single team with a better record than the Chiefs. Besides, I'd much rather be coming off wins against 6-4 and 9-2 teams than coming off of two losses against 8-2 and 7-4 teams. Congrats on that week 1 win against the Chargers, though. Miami had a blowout win against Denver that week. It doesn't exactly have a huge bearing on how you're playing now inasmuchas it happened 12 weeks ago.

Even you and your fellow Chiefs fans have admitted sans Willie Roaf for several weeks has made Trent Green look like the TG of 01.
OTOH-this season has had way too many wrinkles. Tomorrow's game could very well be one surprise wrinkle. Who knows?

Green's as good as his pass protection. He can pick a team apart when his line is healthy, but he doesn't have the athletic ability or arm strength to win games when the defense gets penetration.
In the last 4 years, I don't remember a single game in which our healthy O-line hasn't dominated.
I'm a huge believer in the idea that offenses don't need elite skill players. I'd much rather have a dominant O-line and average skill players.

Agreed-the game is won in the trenches. Parcells' Giants team really didn't have any speed at WR, but they had a big, nasty OL. The Iggles' problems this year stemmed from their porous OL-otherwise, their receivers, QB, and RB have so many skilled talents you can poke holes through, but none of them could do anything with this line.
The LT position is still the most important one, nonetheless. That Philly/KC game was televised in my area. Frankly-Philly didn't get a whole lot of pressure. But with Roaf out, Green looked pretty tentative and somehow insecure out there. That INT he threw to Sheldon Brown-he didn't check off the other receivers, and all but looked like he was worried about pressure from that blind side at the same time. Otherwise, without that score, Philly wouldn't have had any kind of momentum for the rest of the game.
BTW-everyone on ESPN are idiots. They went on on on(during Roaf's injury, that is) how Gonzales was underperforming. Now that Roaf's healthy, all of a sudden they're realizing Gonzales is lighting it up.
When Flo was healthy, Jason Witten was able to go out for passes 90% of the time. Now, he's helping Tucker most of the time.

You're not very good at math, are you?
The three guys that picked all picked one team to win one game. Simply based on their records, there's a 36.3 percent chance that they'll be wrong. But that percentage is based on lots of obvious picks, when one team clearly is better. If you examined their records in games between nearly equal teams -- such as the 8-4 Chiefs as underdogs on the road against the 7-5 Cowboys -- it's probably closer to 50 percent or worse. Last week, for example, out of four such games, they went a combined 6-6. They all picked the same team in two games. One of those won by seven points. The other one lost by 18.

I admit I'm using very questionable methods to come up with the 1 in 27 stat, but the math is sound.
All I've said is that they're wrong approx 1/3 of the time. If you randomly choose 3 of their collective historical picks, there is approximately a 1 in 27 chance of them all being wrong.
That said, I know I'm very conveniently manipulating the stats here. Lighten up.

I don't recall Staubach hoisting the trophy and thanking big dog cowboy for throwing a key block, catching that pass, or swigging that beer. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
Been a Cowboy fan since before our first great super bowl victory. If that isn't enough history for ya, to bad. Just because your team can't win the big game don't try and come into a Cowboy forum and bring us down to your level. I will feel free to talk about our accomplishments because I am proud of them. While it would have been nice, Staubach didn't need to thank me for anything. Everyone associated with the team knows how much the die hards have supported the Cowboys through the good and bad times. Just remember, when watching the game tomorrow, when CBS shows those super bowl banners, each and every Cowboy fan believe they had a part of that history. Nothing you or anybody else can say or do can take that away from us.

The Cowboys have lost more SBs than the Chiefs have even played in.
Last one being ? Probably before you were born.
I am pretty sure that the Cowboys won the SB in 96 Vs. the Steelers.

"winning won" ?
You might have had more beverages than me.
Do you know what year they won in ? I think it was in the early 70's or late 60's.
This guy just dug a deeper and deeper hole for himself. Kinda silly to have me defending the Cowboys, when I am rooting for the Chiefs.
Maybe I made a mistake...

As most of you guys know, I love smack talk and will defend the Redskins as much as possible...
But to disrespect the game and its history is just stupid. The other Chiefs fans (GoChiefs and ChiefsGirl ? ? ) have seemed like honest fans of their teams and true fans of the game. People like this just irritate me.

Actually, I'm incredibly good at math. In fact, I had a perfect math score on the SAT back in the day. (No, I don't expect you to believe me, but it's true.) I admit I'm using very questionable methods to come up with the 1 in 27 stat, but the math is sound.
All I've said is that they're wrong approx 1/3 of the time. If you randomly choose 3 of their collective historical picks, there is approximately a 1 in 27 chance of them all being wrong.
That's not "sound" math, it's misguided math. Just because you can multiply 3x3x3 doesn't mean you're actually figuring out the odds of them being wrong about this game. What you did is calculate the odds that one (or all) of them would be wrong about any three games. But see, in this case, all three are picking ONE game, and they're picking the same team to win. So the odds of them all being wrong (based on their prior accuracy) is simply the average of the odds of each one being wrong. If you found 10 prognosticators who each had 66.67 percent accuracy, and they all picked Team A over Team B in a pick'em game, the odds that all 10 would be wrong is 33.33 percent (if one is wrong, they're all wrong). If you had 10,000 of the same prognosticators, the odds still would be 33.33 percent. The odds don't change just because there's more of them -- they're still picking only one game.

I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.
I have a bad feeling about this game. However-in wk 5, ONLY Matt Mosley(among 1000's of pundits) predicted we would beat the Iggles.

congrats, you beat a Pat team, less than 80% healthy

I'd much rather be coming off wins against 6-4 and 9-2 teams than coming off of two losses against 8-2 and 7-4 teams.
losing to 8-2 and 7-4 teams, respectively, is bad?
name the last bad team, we've lost too
you'll have to go back to week 5, while we only have to go back 3 weeks to see your loss against a bad team...

If you can play a great game at home and still lose to Denver, you don't belong in the playoffs.
being that Denver is an AFC team, and not NFC, I find that extremely hard to believe
we lost a tough, fought out game, against one of the league's premier teams, in fact, if our kicker doesn't blow his only chip-shot...game over, we win, and you have nothing to say...
btw, I don't believe in coulda, shoulda, woulda, but we came this close to beating Denver, so how exactly is that any indication of playoff success or failure?

That does it, no need to watch the game then.
Oh, there is a reason to watch the game (I got your sarcasm), it is called Dallas 27, KC 14
We sent KC packing once (old Dallas Texans), we will do it again. Lamar Hunt and the NFL (Tabliarse) will continue their hatred toward Dallas.
