It's gonna be a tough game, but I have a feeling we'll come out on top(and stay in the thick of the playoff race).
If our O woes continue, then I hope Parcells overhauls the OL in the offseason like he did the D in the last.

Don't tease me like that.

I'm not teasing, I'm being serious as a mother
felt like then was our time to reverse the streak the Eagles had, and now, same feeling like it's our time to end this 2-game losing streak
i will say this....if we win tomorrow
i think the momentum will carry us into the playoffs.

Oh it's time alright, I'm just not feeling overly confident about this one. I'm a little nervous. I'm predicting another nailbiter game like we've had all year, and I think if we get beat (we really should win this one), it will be by ourselves, not the Chiefs.
BTW, I was overly confident we'd beat the Giants, so maybe this is a good thing. Little reverse psychology.

Agreed.
Frankly-going into the Seahawks, Broncos, and the 2nd Giants game, I did NOT expect us to win. But the way we lost really STANG. We outplayed and physically beat up the Hawks and Broncos, but somehow, we managed to botch plays even my great-granny could have made easily. And like in the first meeting, we manhandled Eli yet again-his play wasn't any better than Bledsoe's. However-the difference was that Drew had more opportunities to make plays, but didn't.
And for that matter too, our O was pretty good against Seattle and Denver. Sure, our OL was weak in those games, but we also had good-looking drives that were botched by fumbles, bad snaps, missed blocks, etc.

It's a bad match-up. I'd like to control the clock to keep Larry Johnson and their offense off the field.
Having said that, their pass defense is one of the worst in the league so we may be forced to go that route.
It is going to take a TOTAL team effort to win today.
OL, Bledsoe and JJ must get it done with no mistakes. WR, no dropped balls.
Defense has to control the LOS or the game is over... FAST.
Larry Johnson is a top 5 weapon in the league right now and although Gonzales isn't having his best year, we'd better not forget about him.
Very tough game.

we've played teams throughout the season, beginning with SF, who did not have very good pass defenses. yet by sticking to a gameplan that eats the clock up quickly, we don't take full advantage of them.
i think this will be the same. we need the running game to work, or all else will fail - unless Parcells goes into a different offensive mode. not likely, but possible...

Good post - I agree there have been games this year when we have not played to the opponents weakness.
It's called 'stubborness.'

Yes, I have a feeling for this game.
It's sort of like the feeling you get when you realize you just dropped your car keys down the storm drain.
First off you have to get down, way down low (I'm there). Then, you have to turn your head (away from what your doing) and put your arm into the drain (all the way up to the shoulder). With your arm and fingers extended to the maximum, you're tenderly scratching around in the muck and the mud, all the while not knowing what awaits your hand in the cold, darkness below.
Your hoping and praying to just......touch them. You desperately utter a prayer under your breath that maybe you'll get a break and things will go right and you'll wind up driving home....instead of walking.
That is, if there's any gas left in the tank. And there had better be, because there are a couple of road games left.

Yes, I have a feeling if Dallas does indeed win, that certain KC posters will still not acknowledge our defense has stopped any top offenses.
But seriously, I can't shake this feeling all week that our defense will let us down, and surprisingly, our offense bails us out for a change.
Go figure.
