View Full Version : You should hear the Deadskins fans

Those Foreskins fans are hilarious! Over on the Extremeforeskins site read the "I want Dallas" Thread. They think they will run the table the rest of the season and go to the playoffs! I am serious, go over there and see for your self. Man they must do a lot of drugs in DC. They are all halucinating bad.
Those are the worst homers I have ever seen. It is absolutly unbelieveable.
Plus they are pissed because they think we won today on a BS holding call in the last few minutes. Pepole on drugs should not operate motorised vehicles..... or computers.
You should check out the new Bang cartoon about the battle for next years first draft pick between Houston and the 49ers. It is funny. Curly

But I heard Gibbs is still sending in the tape to the league office. ;)

Does anyone have that "Article" about Gibbs? The one that was posted here a few weeks ago about how great Gibbs is and how all of the referees were conspiring against him. They was reviewing all calls against the Foreskins and after careful review have decided to give the Foreskins an undeafeted record this season and apologise for ever doubting the great one.
That needs to be posted here if anyone can find it, that was funny. Curly

well, they still have a mathematical shot at it. Its on the line next week. We win, its over for them. They win, its probably over for us and if they win out they have a shot. Hopefully we won't go back into our shells offensively.
I'm not going to make fun of them for hoping to make the playoffs this year.
I will make fun of them though for rooting for a disgusting franchise with a dispicable owner and a cry-baby coach.

To all of the guys saying "They want Dallas" I say be careful what you ask for and you may be biting off more than you can chew.
The funny thing is they not only think they will spank the Cowboys next week but they think they will run the table the rest of the season. Not gonna happen. Curly

I'm listening to the local station, 980 in DC, and they are totally convinced that they will win out and win the division.
They think that Dallas will not be a big challenge, and they will be able to move the ball on them without any problem.

They are ignoring the fact that since I picked up Brunnell (Grudgingly) for my fantasy team, he has thrown 0 touchdowns and 84 Interceptions (Figures slightly exagerated).
They have ZERO offence, it's the remaining game that I have the most confidence we will win. Payback time!!

No Redskin fan in their right mind could ever think that beating Dallas is a given, the Skins struggled with the lowly Cards, besides that, i dont think their is one player on our team that has forgotten that last monday night game against them, that should be motivation enough to go out there and destroy them. and more importantly pull the plug on their season! :starspin
PS. i was at the MNF game vs the Skins, i cant wait for this rematch.

Noone on that station assumes we are going to run the table. In fact, this morning they were all talking about how Gibbs almost never sweeps Parcells. Don't make stuff up.
They are, and we all are up here, excited about the fact that we are actually playing a game against you guys that MEANS something for once. After years of futility that alone is a thrill. But I listen to that station all the time, and noone is calling the next three games a gimme.

I don't feel like WA has played well all season, and they
are now playing worse than earlier in the season.
Depending on which Dallas team shows up, it is either
a blowout or a 3 to 7 point win for Dallas.

What's wrong with that? We've been itching for a meaningful Dallas game for years. Isn't anyone here excited the rivalry actually means something again? Cowboys/Redskins in December with a playoff spot on the line? What could be better than that?
Honestly, if you don't think fans should care about a game like this why do you bother to watch football?

We didn't do it with Kevin Smith or Deon, so I'm sure we won't do it with Newman either, but if we ran him all over the field with Moss 1-1, this game would be a walkover, imo.
I think Barber should start and get most of the snaps due to the makeup of the REdskins defense...they aren't going to get any pressure on us with their front 4...our OTs will finally get a break from that perspective, but they love to blitz LBs and DBs, so we're going to need Barber making the correct reads and blitz pickups bigtime.
I don't think the Skins can score more than 17 points against us, so we should win this game, not in a route, but with relative ease compared to our previous games.

Redskins fans should be worried right now about the Dallas game. They are 4-6 in their last 10 games with their four wins coming against the 49ers (2-11), Eagles (5-8), Rams (5-8) and Cardinals (4-9) for a combined winning percentage of 31%.
Now, that doesn't mean they can't beat the Cowboys because records tend to be meaningless in this rivalry. However, even if I wasn't a Cowboys fan, I'd still say the odds were against the Redskins just because of those last 10 games.

No arguement there. We stink on the road and we stink against the AFC. That's pretty much all we've played the past six games.
However, we play better at home than we do away. And so do you. While I wouldn't be suprised to see Dallas favored by a point or two, I don't see Dallas as a heavy favorite in this game.

The funny thing is they think they want Dallas. I think they may be getting more than they asked for. I usually do not make any predictions about games. I did not honestly know what would happen with Denver, the Giants and even Kansas but I feel very confident against the foreskins. They are not a very good team and they have had an easy schedule. I am not going to say it will be a cake walk but we should win. Curly

The skins will be favored my 2 or 3 because of being at home. Whoever mentioned the 49er's game, that is called any given Sunday. We BEAT the Gmen, Chargers, Eagles (when they were playing well) and Chiefs, while losing VERY close games to Seattle and Denver (missed chipshot FG) that we easily could have won.
I see no reason to think we lose to the skins this week, especially considering our recent domination of the series. We match up well against the skins IMO (skins lack the DL to pressure us), and the skins defense and QB have been playing much worse in the last 5 weeks or so compared to earlier in the year.

You got to admit, nobody wants Dallas, the teams we lost too, we had em on the ropes, if the field goal kicking stays true we'll be there, the KC offense is that good, our defense is not that bad. they did run a perfect pay against the two deep zone to get into field goal range, but all our games are going to be close...

You do have a point: most of us believe the Skins stink and aren't shy about it--not that there's anything wrong with that.
If it helps, we think we're entitled to feel that way because we more-or-less own you. To us, you're like a pet. Think of the ES board as the pet's mouth. Oh, look! It's so cute! It's drooling again!
Also, we hate Art.
You can see why we're disappointed that the pet turned and nipped us after behaving nicely for *such* a long time? Some discipline is definitely in order.
You seem a reasonable person. I'm sure, in your own house, you don't let your pets Snyder all over your carpet and just get away with it. Some nose-rubbing is called for. Then, a spanking. Some wound-licking, will be going on, with maybe a video tape of the beating mailed in to the league office.
We'll go back afterwards, to listen in on our pet and make sure it's still breathing. Is that some drool? Good. Now, why is it biting itself? There's no real mystery in the relationship.
What's that, you say? Perhaps you will get a bone sometime around April? Yes, perhaps. There's always next year.
Not that it would be able to chew a bone anyway, missing that first-round tooth.

Our defense has been playing much better since Griffin came back a few weeks ago. I think where you may run into trouble offensively is that we won't have to stack the line to stop your suspect running game. This will allow us to commit more defenders to pass defense, which is how we handled you last time. I know Dallas fans like to talk about how you all 'dominated' us for 55 minutes last time out, but 3-0 at the half is not domination. 13 points is not domination. Defensively, we played you very well and I see no reason to think we won't again, especially given your OL problems of late.
Offensively, teams have started taking away Moss. However, this has opening things up for Portis. He's averaged 101 yards per game over the past six (since the Giants game when Moss's production started to drop) and has scored 5 TDs over that span. Conversely, the Dallas run D is started to falter down the stretch, so while you may shut down our less than stellar passing game, defending the run may be a problem for you. You may, of coure, elect to stack the line, which would be very nice for Moss.
I see a chess match ahead, and we've got two of the grandmasters leading our teams. Should be a good game.

You never know whats going to happen when these 2 teams meet, especially with something on the line. I gurantee you this though...........There will be some serious hittin in both secondaries atleast I know Roy and Davis have been itching for this return match.

I figure this will tighten up as the week progresses. In any case, since we get 3 points for home field advantage, the people who set the lines seem to think things look pretty even. One of you guys should head over and tell them 8 is more than 7 or something.

No arguement there. We stink on the road and we stink against the AFC. That's pretty much all we've played the past six games.
However, we play better at home than we do away. And so do you. While I wouldn't be suprised to see Dallas favored by a point or two, I don't see Dallas as a heavy favorite in this game.I agree about the slim favorites .. really, home field advantage means everything. The Cowboys gave away their home game which means their backs are against the wall now.
With the NFC being really tough, I don't think the winner of this game is guaranteed anything but the loser of this game is most likely out of the playoff race barring a miracle.

We've played pretty much the same schedule, guy. Both teams have their share of ugly wins. Your team has one more win and my team beat your team on the road. I'd say things look pretty even.
To be fair Henry why would he say something on extremeskins? If you don't follow the extremeskins "logic" you get attacked and then have your account locked. All you have to do is speak truth (and provide evidence) and when they can't beat you down verbally they lock you out even when you didnt break any rules. I know this from experience. OM unlocked my account after me showing him the thread.

:laugh2: at 'Boys and 'Skins fans alike.
Both fan bases are vastly overrating themselves. Who here thought that the Cowboys were not deserving of a playoff spot when we were down 14-3? Or even when we gave the Chiefs a chance to tie it at the end?
This team isn't worldbeaters... they play from behind much of the time and are incapable of building a double-digit lead. The running game is stagnant and the passing game will either be awesome or dispicable dependent on the game. The defense is the same way. Most of the time they are great but then they'll give up four touchdowns and need the offense to bail them out.
The Skins shouldn't laugh either. Their offense was pitiful last game but their defense shined through. Throw records out the window because they are meaningless.
No one doubts that this is a huge game, but predicting a slaughter on either side isn't exactly something each team has in common. How many blowouts have been amassed by these teams this year? Not many.
So which Brunell shows up? What Bledsoe?
That will be the ultimate question on Sunday.

Chris Samuels - Yes (face it, Tucker and Rob ain't great)
Jon Jansen - No (good player, but injury prone)
Randy Thomas - No (not a bad player, but not any better than Rivera/Allen at this point)
Clinton Portis - Yes (Capable running back)
Santana Moss - Yes (Best receiver on either side)
Mike Sellers - No (not much of an upgrade)
Sean Taylor - Yes (not over RW, but definitely at FS)
LaVar Arrington - No (only because if he's getting benched there, why here?)
Marcus Washington - Yes (solid LB)
Shawn Springs - No (not better than Newman/Henry)
Cornelius Griffin - No (I actually do like him, but isn't an upgrade over our DT rotation)

Can anyone post that "Article" about Joe Gibbs and the Foreskins being cheated by the referees and after further review by the league have determined that the foreskins are undefeated this year and apologised for ever doubting the great Joe Gibbs? That was halarious because that is seriously the way the foreskins fans think.
I know it was posted on this forum several weeks ago but I can not find it now. Curly

From Fortdick:
NFL officials have reviewed all the tapes sent by Redskin Head coach Joe Gibbs and have determined that the Redskins are actually undefeated this year. As compensation for the obvious cheating on the part of on field officials, the NFL has declared the Redskins are 16-0 this season and receive an automatic berth in the Super Bowl. The Redskins now become the second team to go undefeated for a seaon and the first to do so because of biased officiating.
Coach Gibbs, however, is not satisfied with this solution to the obvious conspiracy to deny the Redskins their rightful place in NFL history. Gibbs has submitted a proposal to the team owners that would require all touchdowns, fumbles, and controversial calls be reviewed by him on the instant replay screen and his decision will override the referee on the field. He will be allowed to use Defense Department satellites to obtain the angle that will best show his point of view and he will have two weeks to complete the review instead of the now existing 90 second rule.
Sports commentator Joe Theismann stated in an interview with Daniel Snyder that, "This is only fair because Joe Gibbs is God's gift to football and even if his team loses, he should not have that kind of mark on his record. If we do not do something about this officials cheating, Joe will return to NASCAR and then the NFL will have to fold because of lack of interest."
A hearing is scheduled for Friday during which an arbitrator will decide if the proposed rule should go into effect. The hereto unnamed arbitrator has promised to review all the evidence and come out with a decision by Tuesday next.

"The Redskins record at FedEx since it opened in 1997 is 38-31-1, or a .542 winning%
The Cowboys record at FedEx since then is 6-2, or a .750 winning%
Not only do we have a better winning% at FedEx, it isnt even close
In contrast, the Redskins record in Texas Stadium since it opened is a paltry 9-24, or a .272 winning%"

I figured I'd cover the historical dominance as an end all, but fine, since 1997 Washington has a 65-75-1 record
Really, are you trying to prove that since Washington sucked during tyis time frame (which Dallas did as well) that it justifies getting owned in Texas Stadium East? :lmao2:

I am the first one to admit that the Redskins have under-performed, over-performed, or even just got lucky.
You come into FedEx this weekend expecting a gimme and you might be startled.
Gimme a break with all of the high and mighty Cowboys crap. BOTH of the franchises have been terrible over the past few years. Finally both teams have some light ahead in the tunnel and you want to try to somehow propose that the Cowboys have been a better team over the past few years.
Reality is over that time span the Redskins even as a crappy team have outperformed your beloved Cowboys.
The Cowboys lose this weekend and the Records will be Redskins- 66-75-1 and the Cowboys would be 63-79 (over that time span). Neither impressive but lets not pretend that the Cowboys have been kicking *** over the past few years either.
Now is now. Right now the Redskins are 1 game behind the Cowboys. The Redskins beat the Cowboys on the night of the triplets induction. The Redskins were expected by most to have no more than 6 wins this year. The Cowboys were maybe around 9 wins behind the Eagles.
We all see how that turned out.

No one said they have been. Just that they've been better than the Redskins when it comes to head to head matchups.
The way a lot of the fans over at extremeskins talk, it's as if they've been competitive in each and every one of the match ups for the past 16 games in which they've lost. But, they haven't.
If I was a Redskins fan, I would take the past four victories with a grain of salt. They've all been against teams that are bad recordwise.
At least Cowboys fans have history to lean back on and say we've won 14 of the past 16 games, and our team has gotten better each of the three years of Parcells' tenure. Yes, the Redskins have too (on offense), but they've also gotten worse (on defense).
I'm not one to trash talk. I never have. Nor am I one to be overconfident because I know anything can happen in the NFL, just like in life in general.
But overconfidence, IMO, is not something that should be exhibited on the Redskins fans' side. At least I can understand it, from a logical perspective on the Cowboys fans' side.
