Me I'd like to send
Henson (I'd really like him to get some game exp to see what he has)
Thompson
Berry-O- if healthy
Burnett (maybe)
Davis (if he's BP's choice at FS then he needs extra exp)
copper and
Tucker (May be a risk but he could use the extra exp)

Only Henson and TT......
TT needs game time, and Henson must flat out light it up and be the MVP or his butt is gone.

TT and Henson. I agree.
No way to Burnett. No Way to Tucker. No to Beriault (knee rehab, and offseason lifting important for him).
And, there is no way Keith Davis is going back.

To me, it's not about experience, it's about talent and mental. Do they have it to do the job. If not, then we'll see an upgrade at the position.
Henson maybe...
Beriault maybe...but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

Without a doubt Henson...and I can just imagine some out there furious with the idea of the guy being sent because how can a team send a stud like henson to NFLE.
Others...
Tom Crowder
Jamaica Rector
Matthew Tarullo
Maybe the other TE we have on the Practice Squad...the Odd Couple Guy. :D

i think it's pretty idiotic to NOT send him last year and NOW send him this year - what happened? i don't like the idea of sending a top prospect to NFLE as it's just a hodge-podge mix of refuse and rejects, so any "valid" play just isn't gonna be expected.
that said, it's about the ONLY way we'll ever see IF he can do anything at all because of parcells refusal to let anyone but his priors play this position.

Simple enough. Last year he needed to learn the playbook. If the staff is confident that they can get an NFLE corollary to the Cowboys playbook, it would make more sense to get him some live snaps now. But I doubt there will be a similar enough offense in NFLE to warrant sending Henson out there.
Thompson? I don't know if I want to risk that. We know what Thompson is capable of - he is the 'emergency' RB, trick WR and first-choice returner. The latter position makes it unlikely that he will be going anywhere, as the possibility of injury could leave us looking for another returner next year.
Beriault I can see, for sure. Need to see what he can do, and he does need the experience. Guys like Jamaica Rector are good shots, and I'm fairly certain someone from the OL will be sent, along with a special teamer/wide receiver - Copper or Crowder.

I'm not sure what the requirements are but Akili Smith played in NFLE last offseason and he has more game time than Burnett but less than Tucker or Davis but he's been in the NFL longer. So I wonder what the cut off is if there is one?

Bucs signed him after made himself available to NFLE.
Got me on the rules, tho. I imagine I could troll the NFLE website. But I just can't find the interest to do so. :D
That said, I don't think Tucker or Davis should or would go at this point. I think they're past the developmental stage on an NFL roster. They either get it done or they don't. If they're not in the NFL next year, u might seem there. But if they're still with the cowboys I don't think they go.

I looked thru the NFLE website and couldn't find anything other than (and this is news to me) every NFL team is required to make 6 players available to NFLE. I don't think that means all or even any will go but I didn't know every team had to participate.
As for Tucker I disagree the only reason I wouldn't send him would be to avoid injury but IMO he could use all the exp he can get. Davis this is his first real year playing FS full time and I think the extra time over there (if he where to play in more of a coverage role) would help him greatly, but these are just my opinion.

It would be difficult to send a player who has been starting through out the season in the NFL and then send him to NFLE that would be a big toll to put on a human body. It takes a good while after the season is over for most of these guys to recover from the grind of training camp, pre-season, 16 week schedule and post season. Having guys who are on the practice squad or players who have not seen much playing time would make sense but Tucker and Davis that would be very difficult on them

Akili I was a former #1 pick of the Bengals Smith?

I don't see how you can quantify the time away into this being more useful for Henson than Romo.
In 2 3/4 years Romo has taken a knee twice as compared to 3/4 of a full game for Henson.
If game experience is our goal, then they both should go, because neither has had it for 3 plus years.
I'd also send Rector and Crowder and the kicker we have/had on the PS.

I say henson more because he's suposed to be the future here and I for one would like to see him play even against NFLE calaiber players just to see how he handles pressure and the flow of games. I don't think many expect Romo to be the future (I actually like him more) and I wouldn't want to send both our backups there right now. I do think they both could use the time.

Henson
Rector
Crowder
Vontrell Jamison
I would resign Reggie Love and send him over there.
Young linemen on both sides of the ball need to stay here and get stronger.

I would send Henson and maybe Thompson, it depends on what the coaches think he can learn over there. If he's gonna learn more bad habits than good ones...don't send him. Definitely think the practice squad guys like Crowder and Rector could benefit from time over there.

is this a henson/romo thread? lol
i agree with BZ, both should go. i see both of them as back ups next year with another veteran on board to compete with them. colombo may be a good one to send over there. i wouldn't waste my time and money with copper. he's been here 2 years and is a good as he's going to get. ratliff & peterman (as many OL's as i can send) are 2 others i would like to see get pt. ratliff may not recover in time though. i wouldn't send TT because i beleive he needs a full offseason to learn the playbook. Europe would only delay the process.

Henson is the only active roster guy I see possibly going.
Teams generally send PS squad guys or street FA's they pick up after the season. The level of competition just isn't worth it for most position players.
Henson, might however learn something because he'd be playing behind an offensive line that is comparable to ours.
Henson
Rector
Crowder

I was going to say Proctor, but you make a good point about them staying and working out.
I'd consider Snell though since he has actually had some time in the league. Reps might be his issue.
I'd also look at Tony Curtis.
