Atl must lose against teh Bears this week. Next week teh Giants have to beat the Redskins and we need to handle the Panthers.
that would put us at 9-6 holding the last Wild card spot.

If we end up with the same record as the Redskins, we are out.
Can we beat Carolina? Can we even beat the Rams?

I dont think the Redskins beat the Giants and with one game left after that, they'll be one game behind us.
So IF the Giants do Beat the Skins and we beat teh Panthers we are in.

Considering ATL loses....If ATL wins it's over we're out plain and simple.

Wouldn't we have to win out for that to happen? We can't have the same record as the Skins and make it in.
We need to win out.
I don't feel good about any road games at this point.

Let's just say that both Dallas and Washington go 1-1 from here on out....we are still out. Throw the Falcons in there if they win tonight, and that doesn't help us at all.

If the Falcons win we're out and Washington is out.
If the falcons lose then washington holds the last spot....So it will all come down to the last to weaks.
Somehow watching a 35-7 blowout just doesnt make one inclined to talk about playoff implications for the Cowboys, and a wildcard road game. This team's had problems closing the deal since September.

What was your first clue? The 13 offensive points against the Raiduhs, the 10 against Seattle, the 14 against the Eagles, the 10 against the Giants.. or todays showing?
In other words, we havent scored more than 14 on O since Sept. in a road game.

Carolina and Atlanta play the last week of the season. One of them will lose. If Dallas wins out they'll have the tie breaker over Carolina if Atlanta wins that game. If Carolina wins that game, then Atlanta will have lost. Atlanta/Car will take care of themselves. If Dallas wins the last 2, and NY or PHI beat the skins, then I'm pretty sure Dallas makes it.

I don't know what to expect now, can't be overly confident in a win at carolina now though. I said at the beginning of the year that it would be a monumental failure by the coaches to do anything less than 11-5 (barring some major injuries). They've now lost 6. So, unless they manage to make the playoffs, and do some serious damage in the playoffs, Parcells has failed big time this year. A lot of people kept saying, how we'd be 9-7 or something cause we're so young, or have a new defense, but that's a BS reason. All the rookies were playing pretty much on the defense except for Rob. And with those rookies, and new scheme, the defense has been stellar until these last 2 weeks. So youth, and new scheme have nothing to do with it. Just poor coaching, and a failure to prepare the team to win. Especially in big games. It's all on Parcells. If he can't get the team ready for big games, and get more out of this team then he has, then he needs to go. He can be GM for all I care, but not coach.

How about this? The Giants have no worries about losing the division to the Cowboys now. The Redksins can beat the Giants and the Giants can still win the division by winning their last game, whereas the Redskins needed all three games to even have a chance at the playoffs.
When they win next week, I'll have you believing in my latter sig line. You can frame my words and come back and post to their truth next week.

That is a huge game for the Giants next week. They are playing for the #2 seed which they now own. A week one bye in the playoffs is huge.

Now, how important was that "Away" game for the Giants when they played the Saints at the Meadowlands? Pisses me off, I tell ya. The Giants have only won 3 away games....[@ New Orleans], @ San Fran, @ Philly (barely in OT)

Folks, forget the playoff talk and all that bs- take a nerve pill, take a dump, and then go to bed. When you wake up tomorrow morning, come on here and we'll start our draft and offseason talk because our season is OVER!!!!

Everyone is forgetting about Minnesota. Right now they have the #7 seed, Cowboys at #8. They are 7-4 in the NFC, we are 6-4.
My bad. They are #8, we are #9.

We can beat the Panthers. I am in Charlotte, and they are average. I am telling you that they have beaten the Bucks, and Patriots, and that is it. I am so sick of hearing about them. We put all out pressure on Jake and he will be throwing those jump balls up for grabs. Put a safety over top of Steve Smith, and we will win. They can't run the ball, and the only option on offense is Steve Smith. No tight end, no number 2 receiver. However, if we don't block Rucker and Peppers better than we did today it will be a long game. We have to get Whitten involved early, and we can get Minter deep. He is a huge liability.

Fortunately, Minnesota plays at Chicago in week 17. They play Baltimore next week, which is probably a "gimme", but Minny will probabably end up no better than 9-7. Of course, that record isn't sounding too bad to me right now.

I have 100% faith in us beating the Rams in our house. I have a hard time seeing us beat the Panthers on the road with the heat their front 4 can bring. As they say, any given Sunday, but our play has to improve in a hurrry.....
