They are only showing 10 minutes of it.
If you want to hear it, you should go to www.theticket.com.

NFL Network might show the whole thing during Coachspeak which comes on at the same time...
Not totally sure they'll play the whole thing, but I was gonna flip back and forth to find out...

Jones has been able to run like this for a month. Just hasn't been playing with confidence.
Rivera starts to practice today. Light running and lifting today. If Gurode practices well, he will play.
Dixon brought back as contigency. Don't think we will need this contengency. Had open spot on roster.
Cundiff probably would have stayed if he made last FG.

Man, I sure am glad that they constantly remind us that we're listening to "The Ticket" because after every 25 seconds or so of the press conference, my amnesia starts to kick in and I keep asking myself what is it that I'm listening to.

Parcells said they just about double teamed Steve Smith every snap. He told Zimmer last Monday that if there was one guy they weren't going to let beat them it was Smith.

not neccessarily. We still have Pile/Davis/Jones and scott if needed.
Parcells just denied that he was retiring. He did say he hasn't decided.

Parcells seemed pretty confident that Roy will play. He said it would be "hard for him not to play." He said Dixon was signed just in case.

They asked Bill if he is gonna retire and Bill said he doesn't want to talk about that sh** and they ask why and Bill said because it would be a distraction to the team and they said it wouldn't be if you said you were coming back and he also said that he would talk about that stuff when he wanted to talk about that stuff and also that there is no contract extension on the table and tha he and Jerry have not talked about it
I hope what I wrote makes sense

1. RW should play
2. Parcells wouldn't talk about retirement. Didn't say he would be back but didn't want to talk about it.
3. Suisham doesn't kickoff as well but Cundiff was missing them in practice too. Mental at this point.
4. Parcells was watching film at 2am on Christmas morning. Worked out at 5am.
5. Wouldn't give state of the union.

I'm convinced Parcells is retiring at the end of the year now. After not giving ANY hint that he would come back, he knows that it is a distractin. For a guy who has a team on the verge of the Playoffs this is not something that sounds typical. I think he's gone.

I voted in the Zone pole that he would retire.
He will retire.

he means the first Redskin game. the one we actually had a shot to win, but Moss killed us with the 2 late TDs.

I had to be pulled away right in the middle of it...
Change at kicker?
We had to do something. He couldn’t make them in practice either. One of those things. I think his problem is mental now, so we had to do something else.
Roy Williams’ status?
It would be pretty hard for him not to play.
Anthony Henry didn’t make the trip?
He told me he couldn’t go. Finally there comes a time when you just have to ask the player “What can you do?” He didn’t think he could play after Thursday’s practice. So we gave him one more day, Friday. But we didn’t do much Friday, so Thurday was the key day for me.
How certain are you the Suisham will be the kicker on Sunday?
Pretty sure. We may workout a couple of guys later in the week, but not with the intention of Sunday. Down the road maybe. I liked him from before, he was just young and frankly Bruce DeHeaven was worried about his inexperience, and I can’t say that I didn’t think that line of thinking was in order. So he was lobbying for that, so I said ‘Okay, let’s go ahead and do it’, but we did like Suisham’s potential when he was here. Obviously we had him here for a while, and he was in Dallas for a long time after we let him go. He just went to Ohio a week ago. We told his agent we were definitely interested in him for the future. He was coming back anyway this week.
Does this move indicate that you are playing for just this week?
You can’t live with what was going on. Now, Sean doesn’t kick off as well. We may suffer in that area.
How do you approach the whole playoff scenario with the team?
Simple. I told them that I can not leave a stone unturned. We’re down to a couple of practices. I haven’t talked to them about St. Louis yet, but generally speaking I told them what I’m going to do.
Needing help, do you become an Eagles fan this week?
Nope, I don’t worry about it.
You said sometimes a big run can trigger a team, did that happen?
The one he broke for a TD kind of got the OL really going. He had a couple of other nice ones before that, but that helped us. I thought we had to play that game an exact certain way to win, and quite frankly I don’t think they felt much different. Just watching them and how they managed the game it wasn’t unlike how we do it. We hurt ourselves on special teams a little bit, and we got to get that squared away.
Did Julius look different?
I’ve kind of seen that in practice the last 2-3 weeks. Everyone can keep blaming his ankle from 12 weeks ago, but I stopped doing that a long time ago. He needed to get his confidence up and get going, and he got a little good fortune getting loose and then you play with a little more confidence.
But he did look like a different back.
Trust me, he’s been able to run like that for the last month, he just wasn’t doing it. Whether its confidence or whatever it is, its hard to get your finger on it. I never lost confidence in him.
Gurode?
Played pretty well. Rivera is going to try to practice this week, and we’ll see what we do there for Sunday.
Retirement?
I’ll say what I say when I want to say it about that subject.
You can blame some of your East Coast buddies for starting that rumor.
Let me tell you something, there is no one .. I have talked to no one about any of those things all season. I challenge anyone who can step forward and say “Bill talked about this stuff to me.”
Talk about a contract extension?
When its appropriate. We’ll see.
Is there one on the table?
Not to my knowledge. We haven’t talked about it.

Thanks INMANROSHI. YOU THA MAN.
i'm glad Cundiff is gone. Suisham can't be any worse. We got lucky with the roughing the kicker. I bet you BP would have gone for it on 4th down had it come down to that. I'm also enthused about Roy's status. Henry should return too, although Reeves more than held his own out there.

Bill is not going anywhere. He could have something really special next season. Next season will most likely be his last.
Bottom line though, we are set up for seasons to come with what he has given us through the draft and through free agency.

Hopefully restructuring the scouting department and appointing Ireland will pay huge dividends for years to come.

Right on bro I am with you i can feel it..there must be more to it then his brother death and the team not playing...no way he would give it up unless something going on and we don't know it yet..

I really believe that Parcells will be back next season and there may be a short contract extension of a year of two following. Parcells has always stated that he wanted to leave this organization in better shape than when he arrived and I truly believe he'll do just that.
I think that involves several things: one, being Jeff Ireland getting set in place running the scouting department. The second being, hopefully, this team having won a Super Bowl or at the very least on the verge of winning one. And third, I think he will not be finished until his successor is ready to replace him. I don't think that coach is on this staff yet. Maybe he'll find a way to put someone like Dan Hennig or Al Groh on the staff down the line. Or maybe someone up and coming into the coaching ranks that has potential, an ex-player of his.

We aren't 'all set' on offense for 'years to come'.
The only two 'top notch' young players on offense are JJones and JWitten. JJones has to prove he can stay on the field and run the way he did last week every week.
The other top players on O-Key, Glenn, Bledsoe and Allen -- are winding down their careers.

I also think Bill will retire...
When the poll was here I said he would not ,but I just heard the PC and he would not say he was not going to retire and would only say he did not want the team distracted and if he answered it would be .....
If he was not thinking of retiring then he could have sqaushed all distractions by simply saying NO I am not retiring..
The only encouriging thing he said was when they asked him about an extension he said they have not discussed it yet and he said maybe after the season....
Of course like always it is hard to get a read on him...
I think if memory serves correct , It was Mort that got the ball rolling with Bill to Dallas , so maybe he dose have some concrete info...

People keep talking about Bill just coming out and saying that he's not retiring. I think we tend to underrate just how stubborn he is. He doesn't want to talk about it...just because...so he won't...period.
I think he's going to come back next season, but I have no doubt that those thoughts of retirement cross his mind from time to time.

If BP were staying to finish out 4 year contract he woud atleast say that he plans to finish out his contract atleast... no?
On Monday Night Countdown last night, didnt Mort say it was something like 60/40 Bill stays? As creative as Jerry is, I wouldnt rule out BP staying on with the team as consultant or in some capacity with Jerry, and a new coach brought in after the season. That may seem far fetched, but it could happen. Nothing's certain right now, though.

He doesn't address it because when he does, it becomes a case of chasing rabbits.
Week 1: Bill, are you going to retire. "No."
Week 2: Bill, are you going to retire. "No."
Week 3: Bill, are you going to retire. "No."
Week 16: Bill, are you going to retire. "No."
People who are constantly chasing rabbits - allowing others to determine what you should or should do, when you should or shouldn't take appropriate action, what should or shouldn't be your priority - aren't very successful because you allow others to dictate what you're going to do.
Maybe, he retires. Maybe he doesn't.
But I'm not bothered in the least that he doesn't address it now because that shouldn't be the focus of the press conference.

Well said....
For me somtimes listening to the PC's is painfull with the same stupid questions asked over and over and over again....
Or when Bill says somthing tongue and cheek and the press will badger him to make some big thing out of nothing...

Took care of what? His one catch for 18 yards well into the 3rd Quarter? Yeah the refs sure saved us with that "bogus call".
