Correction: They have the biggest bust since Ryan Leaf, a malcontent WR, and are playing a game this weekend which very well could involve both teams rtunning it out of their own endzone every snap.

Their level of complete and total ineptness has never been rivaled before in pro sports. They make the Cowboys of 2000-2002 look like a dynasty.

I have and your right. The Texans have went backwards not forward and the team is a total mess right now which is why they hired Dan Reeves as a consultant. Chances are Capers will get fired and I expect to see a total shake up of the entire staff. Houston has to figure out if they want to pay out an 8 mill dollar roster bonus to Carr this off-season so we will find out soon enough how much confidence they have in Carr. While a lot of focus has been put on the O-line of Houston (rightfully so) their defense has been just as bad. As they said in Apollo 13 "Houston We Have A Problem"

Yeah, they do suck but I think they really have some nice assets on the field, just poor coaching.

In alot of cases, they've made mistakes which cost them games, but they were in them. Realistically, they could've won at least 6 or 7 games this year. That's not saying a whole lot, but it's better than a max of 3.

Their competative games included a riveting 42-10 masterpiece against Seattle, a 27-7 marvel against Pittsburgh, and let's not forget the instant classic against the Chiefs, 45-17.

Other outstanding performances include:

38-20 vs Jacksonville
22-7 against Buffalo
34-20 against Tennessee
38-20 vs Indy
31-17 vs Indy

Their most competative games came against teams that are almost as inept as they are, St. Louis, Baltimore, Arizona and Cleveland. The only real team they played well all year was Cincy, 16-10.

Houston has a lot of problems both sides of the ball. When your looking at 1-15 you got major problems and there are no easy fixes. Lucky for Dallas after going 1-15 we had the Walker trade that helped turn things around but there was nothing pretty about our 1-15 (except we did beat Wash) LOL

Even the games against Indy weren't bad competitively as the box score shows. It wasn't complete ineptitude on the field.

Considering their O line makes ours look like All Pros, and their D has been eaten up by such offensive powerhouses as Tenn and Jacksonville, they are MILES behind us and show no real sign of getting better. the O line situation is particularly BAD: they have made NO PROGRESS in the last 3 years at gettting ANY true quality players.
Carr has been getting killed - I am amazed he is still playing.

I can't see how Casserly and Capers can possibly remain employed after this season. Carr, Johnson, and Davis are good, but I can't see how they've managed to whiff at so many other positions. Every other pick and trade seems to be a disaster. Bosselli, the Georgia RB Hollings, releasing Glenn, Buchanon's injury, their inability to to build either line. They suck terribly and are painful to watch; by the time the pieces are put in place, Carr may be unable to walk straight. Reggie Bush will solve a lot of problems, but they need a lot more than just him.

Yep, that trio of guys has been talked about for a couple of years now. And what do they have to show for? Maybe the first pick in the draft.

Their inability to build either line is indeed the thing that has killed them. Picking up their old offensive coordinator, who hosed the Browns as head coach during their first couple of years was also not a smart move. Casserly was always erratic as a GM too. I say the whole organization gets fired, and they bring in someone like Ron Wolf to clean it up. The fanbase can suffer through some losing seasons if they just have some hope....

I have seen every game they've played this year. They are terrible. They need so much more than 'Reggie Bush' it's not even funny. The need to trade down. I do believe a new GM and coach could turn things around for them. The big question is can Carr recover? Or is he just messed up beyond repair? Does he need a change of scenery? Has he learned from his experiences?
