Barber and Key, because of Key's fire and determination and willingness to do whatever to help the team win. Barber because he is a complete back and he has more upside to him than any other RB on our team.

The other guys I like the most is Canty, Crayton, Spears, and Ware, James.

CB is my favorite position, so Newman would be an obvious choice as fav. player. I've always like Greg Ellis. Bradie James is quickly becoming a new favorite with his play this year. If Ware keeps having 3 sack games he will def be one.

I'm a defensive minded person, notice all the players play defense

Key,because of the off the field stuff.(That Thanksgiving story they had on him helping that injured high school player out, won me over) and also the fire(desire to win)

T.Newman on def.

Roy.. he is the most exciting, with his big hits and big plays.. and he is the best player we have.. he is a leader too.. he takes blame on himself even when it is another teammate's fault..

mine's gotta be Julius Jones...great rookie (half) season and finally showing some life when we need it...also a great kid with TNewman coming in a close 2nd. after taking heat for last season he has really responded this year in being a solid corner.

Key and Ware. I wish we had 12 Keyshawn Johnsons on the team. The guy just wants to win. Watch him on running plays the guy is always blocking till the whistle blows. Demarcus has the tools to be something very special.

Witten - there's little not to like about his game or attitude. Julius and Ware are definitely up there along with Newman. All of those guys give me hope!

Larry Allen.

IMO he is the most dominant player ever to wear the star. The gap back to 2nd best OG is a wide one. He's simply a monster.

Jason Witten.

Our best and most consistent player IMO.

Rob Petitti, just something about rooting for an underdog and hoping he makes it that attracts me. Like Drew Pearson or Bill Bates who were some of my favortie players of the past.

As a 6th round pick, the guy was a longshot to even make the team and he ends up starting from day-1 (which I predicted when we drafted him :D ). Yes he has struggled at times but he has also shown that he can be dominant at times. He has a lot to learn and more growing to do but I am pulling for him big time to be our starting RT for many years to come.

I see in him the makings of an outstanding OT, he just needs to apply himself to learning and growing and being consistent and he will be a good one.

T.Newman on def.

Defense ---has to be T Newman --I love a corner that isn't afraid to hit
Offense---key- beyond his mouth--he is a football player

Thanks to the forum for the birthday wishes --nice to be remember at the ripe
young age of 51 :laugh2: :laugh2:

Dat Nguyen!! Great story behind his success not to mention his smarts on the field. He has the right attitude for a football player.

Other than that I would say Ellis (a lesser man would make a scene about getting less time) and Roy.

Ware on defense, he represents a bright future. Love his deamenor and work ethic. A close second is williams and newman.Offense JJ (see ware). Whitten and barber close second.

Respectfully for Allen, key, Bledsoe and ellis. but the young guns are the ones that are going to carry us into the near future.

Roy Williams becuase I got to eat BBQ with him in Oxnard......he signed my #31 Williams jersey.......and he talked to me a little bit each day during for 5 day visit.

Roy is great to fans!

Keyshawn is the worst to fans IMO! Or at least he was to me.....but, he did sign my jersey.....so I do give him a little credit!

When you see Bledsoe drop back, then step up in the pocket and deliver, it's like string music. It's nice - When he's on, he's my favorite.

TNew or Roy
Both the new faces of Dallas compared to Bill's 'old hand' favorites. Homegrown, and that's gotta count for something in this day 'n age of the Dallas Cowboys. They are few and far between. Rookies and 2nd years don't count just yet either. No telling where they'll be in a year or two, if even on this team. I see both of those two here for many years to come though.

On D Dat Nguyen, great player, has a nose for the ball and plays bigger then he is.
On O Pat Crayton, has great hands is shifty plus I like to root for the underdog.

Plus both are nice guys had a chance to shake hands and speak breifly with both at TC season before last.

I like Newman and Williams. I've always been a defensive person, I like Ware, but I didn't figure rookies into the mix 'cause, as stated before, you just never know what's gonna happen....

Petitti.

You have to pull for the underdog. The kid takes a beating every week. He's hurt. Parcells rides him like a rented burro. DEs abuse him worse than PittDawg. Yet, he shows up each week ready to do battle regardless of the consequences.

Here's to bigger and better things for Petitti next year!

Roy Williams - all the way back to college...

But you can mark me down as someone who can't really pick, and I think that's a great thing. This is a very likeable team. There are a lot of great guys here, including people like Keyshawn who were supposed to be bad apples.

On offense I like:

Larry Allen- I took him for granted for too long. When he opened Cortez' head like a Pez dispenser, he won a place in my heart for all time.
Patrick Crayton- I love sure hands and think he's going to keep getting better. Could be a star for us one day soon.

On defense I like:
Anthony Henry- what's not to like about a hard-hitting ballhawk who made good on his FA contract? I'm bitter that we rushed him back. If we'd used common sense, he'd be 100 percent for this week. He'll be a force next year

Demarcus Ware- he's going to be scary good for a decade. Love his attitude.
