If the Cowboys make it to the big dance this year. What team would you want to play against and why?

Houston Texans or Tennessee Titans. Glad you asked?

The Squealers.
Cowher is no big game adjuster.

Jacksonville. They don't score a lot and they don't rush the passer much.

Of the playoff teams, Denver. We know we are capable of hanging with and beating them. The only teams I DONT want to face are New England or Indy.

Jake "The Fake"-Definitely Denver
Or Cincy-Julius would run wild over their porous run D

No not really if this it the type of response this question will recieve. My motives where to have a discussion about matchups between the Boys and the AFC playoff teams. I also wanted to know if there were any teams you would like to throw matchups to the wind and want simple revenge upon.

Also, Plummer is not a big game QB. He always collapses under pressure.

...and their conservative game plans.
Coupled with Parcells, Cowher would dig into a snore fest and be happy to have it come down the a duel of the kickers and last possession.
On the kicking duel he knows he would beat Dallas.

Quite honestly I would want to avenge the OTHER SB loss from the 70's - we took care of Steelers in SBXXX
Cowboys vs. Colts
Pats. Can you imagine the hype? Parcells will go off on the media at least five times, and he might smack someone.

...to duke it out with a passing team you better have the players.
With a hobbled Roy, Henry and an inexperienced Davis I would think we would be on the losing end of humiliation.
It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that the SB organizers and the league would turn out the lights by the third quarter. We can't run with those dogs yet.

But Shanahan is a big game coach, it'd be an even heavier dose of that rb stable.

I know that but I dont want to exact revenge on the Ravens? Team name will suffice. LOL

The Patriots...Bledsoe vs. His old team...Bledsoe vs. his old coach, bledsoe vs. his old protege...Parcells vs. his old protege...Parcells vs. his old team/Bob Kraft...the story lines that would lead up to that one...oh man, it'd be sweet to see them beat the Patriots.

Cincy. With all the hype and time to prepare, Chad Johnson would probably have some good material.
And it would be a good game, too.

Another victory over the Steelers would be fitting. They took 2 SB's from us in the 70's and got half their roster in the HOF because of it.
We'll get the Colts next in SB 41 and beat them with their ex-kicker Vanderjagt as time expires...naturally.
Payback! :)

New England Patriots. Great team philosophy and I like how Tom Brady plays.

Colts. If you are going to be the best. You have to beat the best. :star:

The Pats just so the Cowboys can show them what a real perennial dynasty looks like and how the real America's Team handles its business.
It'd be a good game, too.

Actually I would rather play the Colts in the SuperBowl INSTEAD of the Patriots.... Brady would STILL beat Bledsoe and Bellichek would probably outcoach Parcells.

I'd prefer the Jags because I thinkt hey backed into the playoffs and are significantly less talented than the others.
I think we would match up suprisingly well with the Colts. They really struggle versus 3-4 teams it seems. SD the last 2 seasons and the Pats have owned them. I think there defense is most suspectible to max protect schemes that focus on running the ball at their smallish DL.

If we made it to the SB I wouldn't really care.......but Indy if I were forced to pick.
