Let's get ready for the Draft

It's over and most of us know it!!! :bang2: We don't deserve to slide in the Playoffs by begging other teams for thier help. We blew our chances against the Skin and the Giants a few weeks back. We could have earned our way in.

For FY 06, I say we get TO, a solid right tackle and a stud LB in the draft. Also need a young WR and a FS that can cover. If we do that, we will contend for the division title next season

Before the season started most rational fans kind of already thought that way. We least we seem headed in the right direction.

That's right. Before the season most of us were picking this team to 8-8 or 9-7. I'm one of those people. This has been a good season building for the future. One more solid draft next year and a couple of KEY FA pickups and we are in contention for real.

Just a solid kicker makes us a playoff team this year. Make those additions and we could be.....(wispering).....super bowl contenders???

I agree... if we have the money, let's add some depth. It was inexcusable for our offensive season to be over once Flozell was hurt. Let's add a few offensive linemen.

the late game collapse to a division opponent(skins) at home is what ultimately killed us. huge 2 game swing right there

Losing to BOTH the Giants and the Skins late killed us; we did not DESERVE to be in the playoffs after that. We need one good OT that can step in for a season ending injury- I do not think that Tucker is that. We need another GOOD ILB to replace Dat.
We need another good outside LB for Depth. We need a FS that can cover.
AND WE NEED A REAL KICKER!!!!!

We need one good OT that can step in for a season ending injury- I do not think that Tucker is that.

Tucker is as good a backup LT you're going to get, there's a reason teams call the players sitting behind the starters...backups=not capable of sustaining successful starts for more than a few weeks at a time, Tucker had his good moments, and his not-so-good moments, and all in all, was adequate replacing Flo, and I bet you Parcells will let him stick around

but I agree about the ILB part, Shanle should be a nickel LB, so can you say D'Qwell Jackson?

We are going to undergo injuries next year too. Bad ones, to key personnel. Whatever we acquire this offseason, just know that.
