It's time to see what we have in these guys, and Bledsoe has nothing to gain. We know what he can do, and plus he's going to be the starter next year, so let's get them in Parcells.

Sad to say, but you may be right. We desperately need to see what these guys can do with a starting cast.

So, the coaches don't see what they do each week in practice.
Keep the losers on the bench and let's win this game.

Screw that, I want to win. Those guys didn't get many snaps this year, and at least with a win we can say we won 10 games and are only the fifth team in history to win 10 and miss the playoffs.

I absolutely agree if the Cowboys play Henson or Romo at least i'll feel like this last week wasn't a waste but man with Parcells never. Which is a complete shame because Bledsoe doesn't even need this game and would be a complete waste of a game

Play to win
by finding out what you have when you can, you're *trying* to set up for a longer term BETTER team, hence more wins.
there's a lot more than *TODAY* to all this people.

With us still being in the hunt untill an hour ago, I doubt Romo took many snapps this week. He wont play.

So Manning and Brady should have played the whole game today, huh?
Well, you can scratch Henson.
I'm most positive that Spags just said he is on the in-active list for this game.

Not many teams have great back ups at QB. You cant afford them. Back up QBs should be servicable, I would think that is what Parcells thinks of Romo. Does it matter if we see it?

Let's see...we want Atlanta and Philly to play games that are meaningless to them like it's the SB and get pissed when their scrub QB is pulled for another scrubb QB, yet we think our meaningless game is an ideal time to play backups and evaluate them....that's somewhat ironic and hypocritical.
I say play to win...if we get up big or down big, play Romo. Of course, we're not the coaches...maybe they already know what they have without playing him in a game...of course, that would mean they know he stinks....I think if either of our youngsters were lighting it up in practice and showing exciting strides, the coaches would then be looking for opportunities to get a look see in a game.

The games for Atlanta and Philadelphia were NOT meaningless, unlike our's which will have no effect on anything.

Hey, you NEED to see them, and I don't. If they play, fine, if they don't, big deal. A quarter or half against the Rams will provide us no more information than we already know, nada.

Bledsoe can play one more year and get lost, then we can play the new guy and our future starts then. But why waste time with these bums if they can't play.

What do we gain if Bledsoe is in there and wins the game???? I'm not saying i don't want to win, i'm saying that it would be much more valuable to this team if one of our young QB's is in there gets good experience and maybe gets the win. We already know what Bledsoe's strengths and weaknesses are, so does every other team in the league. But we don't know what Romo's and Henson's are

I don't know of any QB who gained much from playing a single game...and I don't know if any team knowing for sure what they got in a young QB, after a single game...
so pardon me if I don't buy into, "we need to see what we have in our young QB, in this 1 game"

So to hell with winning a 10th game right? lets give backups a couple series which does absolutely nothing as far as evaluation right?

You give your team the best chance to win which as everyone knows even those unwilling to admit it, Bledsoe is the best chance to win.

You give your team the best chance to win which as everyone knows even those unwilling to admit it, Bledsoe is the best chance to win.
and some seem unwilling to admit you can take a short term chance on a long term payout. if the goal is to win what if we *risk* losing this game but the experience we give the qb helps him win 2 more?
net, we get your end result just a different way.
it's not so much the reluctance of another qb in there but the reluctance to offer experience at opportune times.
