Ok, instead of putting it negatively, let me vent positively. If I could put together my dream management team for next season, I would do the following.

1. Troy Aikman would be recruited as a GM. I think he would love to do it, I think Jerry would love working with him (obviously Jerry would still have final say like he always has, but I think he would listen to Troy, and from listening to Troy on his broadcasts I actually think he has some good ideas about players.) and I think they would be productive.

2. I would bring Norv Turner in as my head coach. I know, I know, he is twice a failure. Once in Washington and now in Oakland. But I really think he could work out in Dallas, especially if teamed with Aikman.

BUT IF I COULDN'T GET THIS DONE.....

I think I would go after Gary Kubiak.

I'll give you all a dark horse, just knowing how Jerry goes to what he knows, LOOK OUT FOR A BUTCH DAVIS HIRE.

3. I would bring Steve Hoffman back to work with kickers.

Didn't Parcells get rid of the O-Line coach too?

I knew that Aikman as a GM would SOUND fanciful when I mentioned it. But did you know that Aikman has actually said he would like to do this some day? I think he has pretty well succeeded at just about everything he has ever done, and that has a lot to do with work ethic. I think he would do a great job for us.

well i would hope Troy would do a better job as a GM than he does as a commentator, I seriously just can't even stand to hear him anymore. He's either loving on our rivals, hating on us, or just talking too much.

IMO he's trying so hard to not be a homer, see Theesman, that he comes across as a Cowboy hater.

Maybe Troy could bring in some of the recruits and throw them some balls and report to Jerry like he did w/perenial pro-bowler David LaFleur.

Once again a myth that just won't die.

1. Troy wanted Tony Gonzales OVER LaFleur but Gonzales was gone before the Cowboys came up in that draft.

2. Troy only did what the Cowboys asked him to do with LaFleur.

3. If LaFleur hadn't had the back problems he WOULD have been one heck of a Tight End.

You would replace a coach who has brought his teams to 3 Super Bowls with Norv Turner. That is lame. I am pissed at Parcells not playing Romo or Henson but I still want BP back. I think we are very close to bein a Super Bowl contender.
