I would like to see him back next season. However, he has some problems that he NEEDS to fix....namely, the o-line. If he fails to fix that, I would have no problem with jettisoning him at all.
He also needs to figure out a better way of play-calling. I understand that when we got him, that everybody told us to expect close games. However, we had PLENTY of chances to put games out of reach, but couldn't/wouldn't due to the conservative playing "not to lose" offense.

I dont have a stance.
I look at the Forrest...
Right now I see a .000 Post Season Winning Percentage in 3 Seasons.
If we miss the playoffs next year, I am jumping off his Wagon.

FWIW-Parcells coaches lots of blow-outs in his tenure with his previous 3 teams(and this despite his conservative approach with NYG).
Playing a close game with that great 49ers and that dangerous no-huddle Buffalo team was brilliant-but ?? THE RAMS??! THE IGGLES??! THE LIONS??! THE FORESKINS??! THE GINTS??! These are hardly high school teams.

I hope BP's back as well.
The OL needs a lot of help. The OL and kicker position, along with FS, was our undoing this year.

I want Parcells back. Need to focus on the offensive side of the ball this off-season.

Of course there will be a blow-out here and there....shoot, we even had one ourselves, AFTER the players went to him asking him to open it up, yet he denys it.

If I see this same crap by mid-season next year and we are having the same problems, if I were Jerry, I would cut him in the middle of a game and tell him to get out now!

If we miss the playoffs next year, I am jumping off his Wagon.I think that's looking at the trees, not the forest. The big picture is that this team (sans o-line) has improved. No doubt that o-line will be improved over the off season. Heck Flo coming back drastically improves this line. Anybody...just anybody...at RT improves this o-line.
Oh, and not to mention a kicker. If we had these improvements this year I see us having a first round bye. It will probably mean that next year as well.

My stance is I want him back but like Mick said if he doesn't fix the glaring weaknesses next year can him.
IMO The priorities are
1. FIX THE OLINE
2. A good kicker....doesn't have to be great
3. A real FS
4. A real 3-4 DC
5. LB depth
That may be too much to ask for but we can only hope.

I wonder who the Cowboys (Jerry Jones) will pass on this draft?
Hopefully Sean Payton goes to the Redskin's and f's up their offense:)

Capers?
He'd be better than Zimmer

As dissapointing this year has been, imagine the team next year with an entirely new coaching staff
It'd be a lot worse than this, I think

The play calling I agree with. Many times this year I was screaming at the TV.
He will fix the O-line. Damn near rebuilt the entire D last year. He isn't stupid and knows what needs fixed. This is a 2 year rebuild job and we are only half way there.

Sorry...but looking at a coaches overall winning percentage in the Playoffs is one of the many ways to look at the entire Forrest.
Of course what you are saying is another way of looking at the forrest too.
But damn...they keep telling me the team has improved, which a blind man can see it has but we keep getting the same on results.

Ware can't get after the QB alone, we need another guy to get after QB's.
I'm disappointed in what BP has done the 1st 2 season as he's wasted time, and didn't start to wake up until last off-season. IMO,from listening to the Press Conference, I don't think BP will be back.

Liked what I've been seeing On D. Hate the ultra conservative O.
My stance? That depends on who's brought in I guess.
I'm also not hating the coordinators, seeing as how BP's got way too much input. Some of the coaches on the other hand....*cough...OL...ST...cough*
