Just knowing how Jerry likes to stay with what he knows, I think if Parcells leaves, Butch Davis is a real possibility in Dallas. I wouldn't be a fan of it, but I think it would be possible.

Watch out for Butch Davis?
Why? Is Rob Petitti being asked to block him?
<Just kidding. Thought I'd show the Petitti bashers I have a sense of humor.>

Any other former assistant coaches you'd like to throw out there? What about Wanstadt? Campo? Bill Bates? Jim Bates? Hudson Houck?

There are no Pettiti bashers. Just people stating the obvious.

Well, not exactly my first choice, but I wouldn't throw away my souvenirs if he were made coach.

As long as Jerry doesn't let Davis buy the groceries, Butch would be an excellent choice.
BD's undoing in Cleveland was how he drove everyone out of their front office.

Why not every other assist that hasn't made it as a HC is being mentioned

Norv would be MY choice, I think Butch Davis would be on Jerry's list. Butch Davis was a successful head coach at Miami, and then struggled at Cleveland. We will see.

Norv is an assitant at best. He has proven twice that he doesn't have what it takes to be a HC.

No way to Norv. This is a young team. It needs a disciplinarian. Norv is not the type of coach you want for this young team.

Or a vet team. The guy just isn't a HC.

OK, how about Bruce Mays? Rich Dalrymple might be a good one- he'd be good with the media. Joe Brodsky?

If your boss was Dan Snyder and Al Davis, wouldn't it make it *that* much harder to do your job?
FWIW-the kicking game was the Skins' ultimate undoing in '00. Otherwise, they DID play competitively for Norv. It was when Terri Rebiski took over that the Deadskins decided to quit playing.

Oh PLEASE! What you've stated is YOUR OPINION. And you know what they say about opinions. There has been PLENTY of Petitti bashing going on tonight.
Doesn't "VoR" stand for "Voice of Reason"? Surely you could admit that no matter what Petitti did tonight it is at LEAST open to opinion?
