on Mike & Mike.

He said he knew he couldn't come back physically though.

Told BP he wasn't sure.

Told M&M that he wouldn't have done it even if they had made the playoffs.

Woodson was a warrior and if he says he can't do it then I believe him. It would have been great to have him back but not at the risk of him risking serious permanent injury.

I would love to him return as a coach. In one of my many Madden franchises I hired him as a ST coach and a couple of seasons later he was my head coach :D

He was the "QB" of the defense, as was Dat this year. Player "Smarts" is such an underated thing these days. He would make a fine coach IMHO...

But, I think he is destined for the broadcast world.

Well I'm ok with him not coming back. I miss looking at him in his unis, but I get to see him alot more on TV, so I'm totally cool with that.. :)

He did clear waivers -- so we could have done it. If we were playing this weekend, Woody would be in here for a workout at least. Never know what a little adrenaline will do for a player.

I don't think Woody wants to coach -- he's a good looking dude with a good voice -- he's going to explore broadcasting options -- it is a much better life than NFL assistant.
