Not to long ago someone put up a poll that asked who was the better coach NOW. Parcells or Cowher. A few of us picked Cowher and I was one who picked Cowher to.

Well I just have to say it is obvious that the 9-7 record Bill Parcells gave us proves he really a better coach then Cowher who just got his team to the Super Bowl.

I wanna thank all the homers in here for wakin me up and helpin me see how much better of a coach NOW Parcells really is then Bill Cowher.

THese kinds of comparisons are idiotic especially when people strat crowing over the fact that one guy did something THIS year the other didn't. WHy is it idiotic? Does Parcells have Roethlisberger at QB? Or Ward and Randel-El at WR? DOes Parcells have a DC that has any guts? Does Parcells have A bruising RB to grind out the clock? No.

It really doesn't matter at this point. People will go with who has been sucessful and who hasn't. Parcells has won 2 SB's and Cowher hasn't won the big one yet. That's how it gets viewed by most. IMO....

You know what I am much happier with the 1 game above .500 Parcells has given us in his 3 years here. This record just goes to prove how much better he is then Cowher.

You see Hos when that poll question was asked around 70% in here said Parcells is the better coach now. I was one those 30% who dont know anything about football and voted that Cowher was the better coach. I guess Im just a little slow and it took todays game for me to see that Parcells is really a better coach then Cowher NOW!

Wolvervine isnt into reality or facts he just likes to jump on the hot bandwagon, last week it was Gibbs is better than BP cause he made the playoffs this year, now Cowher is the better coach. How many SB wins does Cowher have again? Cowher is a good coach and he gets the most out of his teams but BPs resume is head and shoulders above Cowher's hands down.

Bill Cowher is a good coach. I feel bad for him. He still hasnt won the big game. He has had some very talented teams. He has had his down years as well. But I hope he finally wins one. On the flip side I do hope caroilina or seattle wins too. THose cities have never won a super bowl. That would be cool.

Man bill has been to three super bowls and something like 6 championship games. something like that. I hope he can do it again. It isnt easy. I would say our franchise in dallas from 1999-2002 can be likened to the arizona cardinals or possibly the bengals of the 90s. Since 2003 I would say we have improved from being bottom dwellers. Cowher is a good coach. BUT a record of 2-4 in championship games(all FOUR losses at HOME) ; 0-1 in SB's. Lets be honest- he has not done well in the big games.

GREAT post. I would never want to have a coach for 15 long years if he can't win the big one. Parcells is building this team from the bottom up. Has he made mistakes? Yes, he has, but hindsight is always 20-20. Give him time.
