amazes me how defensive pressure can make a good QB look so average.

Manning anyone? So true. Yet Bledsoe was supposed to look like a super hero behind our line.;)

Amazing how Bad Delhomme, Manning, Brady looked when they were getting hit and sacked with poor protection.

What Bledsoe did this year was amazing candidly. Lets shore up the Oline adraft a weapon or two and rock next year!

"Bill passed on him, therefore he made a monumental blunder! he hates talented, young QBs, even though we have 2 on the roster, already developing! he just wants to leave us in a mess at QB when he's gone and Bledsoe moves on, after all, he'll die before he ever sees a good QB start over his guys, and doesn't care about the COwboy's future, although I have nothing to back up my claim...THE SKY IS FALLING!!!"

Plonk.

there, that's better

Was it the pressure, or the fact that Seattle took away Steve Smith? Jake without Steve = average at best.

you've seen his playoff stats right? and a team led by him actually made it to the SUper Bowl...

Please...Jake Delhomme is a proven starter in this league...he's had an unparalleled run of great showings in the playoffs for several years now, and he was certainly under pressure all of last season with all their injuries and I'm sure he has faced pressure this season as well.

The guy had a bad game...suddenly you want to pretend he's not the real deal? Ridiculous...Brady had a bad game, but he's played under pressure his entire career and is known to stand and take a hit to deliver.

Rothlisberger was under some pressure today too, but he got the job done.

Aikman had his share of stinky games...Roger STaubach has some stinkers...it happens.

I am sorry but Jake Delhomme is the 2nd most overrated QB in the game.

Trent Dilfer was a proven starter too. To the note of a SB championship.
I have never been a Delhomme fan and never will be. He completely disappears against any team with a solid secondary. Not to mention for a guy that has never won anything he is cocky as hell.

Vick has done crap, Delhomme produces results in the playoffs, and has led a team to a Super Bowl, if that's overrated, I'll take it

and his career numbers look pretty good too

Look at the Panthers schedules when they have made the playoffs. Please.

He plays pitiful time and time again against good teams.

They had a lucky playoff run two years ago. This year the D faced two (basically) rookie QBs.

Sell me.

Fair enough. Truce.

Living in Charlotte, I have to root against the Panthers. Their fans are more pathetic than Falcons fans. I asked a guy yesterday to name 3 of their WRs and he said, "Smith, Proehl, and Mangum". I just wanted to slap him silly.

Then some dope tells me he is a Redskins fan too ,after laughing at the poor Panthers fan. I asked him who played MLB for the Redskins and he said LaVar. I walked away with my girl and just shook my head in disgust.

Yeah, I am sure when you are down to 4th string RB, and only weapon is being double and triple teamed, and then on top of it, have your Defense star be hobbled, in NFC championship game on the road, it does prove you are are stinky QB

It's been that way for every QB to ever play the game. Every single one would look great behind a line that gave him all day to throw.

How well does Jake do when Smith isn't dominating? How much of his success is him, and how much is Smith? I certainly haven't seen greatness from Jake. He makes a ton of horrible throws. That Chicago game sure was impressive...must be hard to hit Smith when he is open by 15 yards cause the defenders are falling all over themselves.
