Who will it be the Steelers or Hawks that win it all.
All I know is it looks like it is gonna be one great Super Bowl. I really have no idea who to pick in this one.
My guess is the Steelers win it by less then 3 points.

I don't know who will win. But those that think Pitt will walk over Seattle are probably mistaken. I'm not completely sold on beating over ranked Cin with out Palmer, then Indy didn't show up and today Denver's soft D was exposed and Jake melted down like many expected. Hopefully Seattle will challenge them because so far Pit has had a easier road then those who say they beat the top 3 seeded teams.

I agree. I also think that the Hawks D is really underrated. The Hawks really have a good D and a real good DC to. It is gonna be a real good Super Bowl.

Steelers 34
Seahawks 27
Steelers are fast on defense, have a running game and have a tough accurate passer. It will be interesting to see how their defense fares against the best offensive line in the league.
The Steelers defense will put so many hard licks on soft Shaun Alexander, he won't be a factor by the second half.
With this being on a neutral field, I expect Seattle to play differently than they do in the invincible environs of Qwest Field, where the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins too them down to the wire before losing those games.
Hasselbeck is the X-factor, but I think he can be rattled, especially if the Seahawks get down by 10.

Both teams great ballclubs, should be great game. I think Steelers have more weapons, but the seahawks have the better weapons. Hasselback has grown into a very good QB and Big Ben will be a superstar. I think it is a tossup, will pick Steelers 27, Seahawks 24

Oh this is an easy one to call....Pittsburgh 24...Seattle 10 all day. Ben Rothlisburger is the truth and big bus Jerome Bettis (future Hall of Famer)will have a great day on the ground against a small frontline of Seattle.

I hope this game goes into OT and the seahawks win by a FG.It would kill the Squealers fans.

My sports life takes a major nosedive if the squeelers win.
I won't be able to leave the house without a squeelers fan waving some towel in my face, or hearing "here we go squeelers, here we go"
Their fans are obnoxiously sickening, and arrogant.
I am embarassed to admit how bad I want the squeelers to lose.

Because I wear my Cowboys hat everywhere I go I guess.
They hate the Cowboys, and I hate them.
They still talk about the Cowboys like it was 1997 with the drugs, hookers, etc.

Actually, I think Steelers fans hate everybody, you don't have to provoke it other than pull for a team other than theirs- have you ever SEEN a Steelers fan? You'd hate everybody and yourself too if you were one- they are some pretty self loathing folks- my best friend is one, man, talk about somebody with some issues.
Hey, if you see Reothlisberger out on a motorcycle without his helmet on take one for the team and ram him. :laugh2:

Jake melted down like many expected.
I wouldn't call it a melt-down. Plummer threw one ill-advised pass before desperation time made him take even more risks. If Roethlisberger faced the kind of pressure that Pittsburgh was putting Plummer he wouldn't have fared any better.
Having said that, Seattle wins handly, in my opinion. They are a much more balanced offense than the Broncos who were running against Pittsburgh rather effectively before they fell behind and abandoned the run. Final score 30-17.

True, Roethlisberger NEVER faces pressure, and what's funny is their fans were whining about their OL and Russ Grimm should get canned- they are so ignorant. The times he faced pressure this year (Baltimore, Indy, Cincy) and against the NYJ and the Pats last playoffs he nothing more than sucked. Any QB that gets time enouch in the pocket to call for a pizza will look all world and any that has to run for his life will look like the two Jakes yesterday.

I predict that Tatupu muffs a would-be interception that ends up ricocheting off another helmet and into Hines Ward's hands for a long touchdown that ends up being the difference in the game.
These are the kind of events that happen EVERYTIME Pittsburgh wins (or gets close to) a Super Bowl.

I am rooting for a good game and hoping Seattle wins. After the Redskin win and getting the monkey off there backs. They seemed to play with more confidence against Carolina.
I hope the confidence follows them to a superbowl 40 win.
