The Orange County Register [http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/13648768.htm]

...Philadelphia Eagles teammates Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens will do a soup commercial together, then go to McNabb's mom's house for dessert.

Eagles MB Poster - "Rumors are starting to surface about some type of contract .......should this come the fruition it will make news the week after the SB."

I sincerely hope this does not happen -- there's been too much blood spilled over this guy ...far too much. Otherwise, he'll be released to some Other unfortunate franchise in March/April timeframe.:o:

Did you read the whole article where it said:

Don't be surprised if these previously unthinkable story lines soon unfold:

and listed the TO-McNabb scenario...

I tell you some of you need to join a reading group... LOL

I do not want TO back in an Eagles uniform -- not even if he wants to wear an Eagle's jersey casually!

The worst case scenario for the Eagles is to workout some sought of whack contract putting TO back in an Eagles uniform. I say do not release TO to become an FA; hold him for a whack trade deal. A trade would actually hurt TO more and Eagles Management could come out on top without going Into any cap money -- Eagles have muti-bucks in cap $!

This is actually a wait game -- and someone in the NFL willbite before March 2006! While no one is going to pay top dollar, believe, Miami, the Jets, and a very remote chance the Broncos (but the Broncos are at least 2-million over their cap). Believe everyone in the NFCE will be spared TO; unless he is released in March.

ever considered reading something before posting, or commenting. lets recap the article, bush changed his mind and is not coming out for the draft, clippers giving back all season ticket holders money, t.o. and mcnabb doing a soup commercial.i've got some swamp land it appears alot of you would have a huge interest in and it's real cheap, with a nice view of the next swamp

Why? So he can whine to the union again and get the trade nullified?

If Philadelphia had any nads they would keep TO, but he was their scapegoat for an awful offseason while they quietly demoted Andy Reid.

I know in the NFC you do not want to hear this, but as a football fan --- I really like McNabb. When I was young and watched football ALL the time, I watched college football, Syracuse -- I said to myself, this kid is good. And not just that, a class act. He has it all.

In my mind I never, ever dislike someone because they are good. McNabb has carried the Eagles and deserves all the praise he gets. I really don't care if the Eagle fans have class -- no matter, McNabb does.

The guy has GOT IT. And that little twit TO can just get himself unemployed. Any team dumb enough to pick him up deserves what they get.

Sorry, football is a TEAM sport TO. A team sport. And if there is a leader, it darn well better be the QB. Please go look at yourself in the mirror and leave football.

You know what ...you have cojones PF. Not because you're giving credit to an Eagles Qb, but because you not afraid to stand up and say what you feel is right; regardless of the flack you may catch.;)

That's good ethics -- and trust me, there are plenty Eagle fans with class! I strive for to achieve that merit badge everyday; and sometimes it's not easy.
Especially when you have dialogue on a thread, and someone comes along and tries to bust your chops about something that an eagles fan did 5 or 6 years ago and he/she still carries the baggage.

I respect what you're saying PF

I like McNabb. A little to PR for me. A spokesperson for the team. Saying nothing but blah blah blah. Hate his dance. Him and Dante. Horrible. LOL

I aint hating on McNabb. He AINT got IT. Sorry. He will never get a SB win. Not in Philly anyways.

With the parody in todays league, McNabb will solidify the Eagels for a long time.

He hasn't been great in big games, but he's a good QB...regardless if he plays for the Eagles or not, the guy can play.

He looked good wearing the throwback Irvin jersey... don't know if it was casually or purposely???
