I think it give teams a chance to overcome some bumps and briuses. Getting up for the game is not the issue.

I don't know, I felt the entire playoffs this year were boring. I actually slept through almost both championship games. I really have no desire to watch the Super Bowl this year but I will anyway without any parties or anything.

The 2 weeks between the game suck as always but I guess it is good for the teams.

Im tired of hearing it every year too. I like it myself, the football season goes by so fast why not savor it a bit, whats the rush? In baseball, basketball and hockey when the final series go 6 or 7 games they end up finishing 2 weeks after the semis end, so why should football always be over 1 week after the semi's end. People need to get over it.

I like it, this year. The Superbowl is Feb 5th and I think a week later NFLE training camp starts. We actually have something to watch now in NFLE.
