Did anyone else see it? He didnt say much but he got pretty emotional at the end. I hope he has turned his life around, not to mention he has probably blown all of him money.

He actually looks like he's lost weight. Not that you can tell, but his face looks smaller.
For those that didn't see it, the emotion was when he started talking about his kids and how he never wanted them to have his self-destructive tendencies. He stopped the interview right when he was about to break down.
They interviewed Deion, one of his old time friends who's a Dallas police officer, and his wife. They all expressed disbelief at his actions. His wife was especially upset, which is to be expected.
He talked about how his mentality back then would have led him to either jail or death. Mentioned how he never wanted to go back to jail. Ever.

I thought this was going to be on Sunday 11 AM ET time, or that will be repeat of the one already aired?

I'd look for an Outside the Lines type thing coming up. I can't imagine them not re-airing it multiple times. Showed alot of old Cowboys footage. How charismatic he was with the media. And then segued to him in handcuffs and the prison facility where he was located.
The standard rise and fall of an athlete.

Yeah, but it more stupidity of Nate then anything. Man I loved the guy when he played for the Cowboys. One of my Favorite Lineman, other than Erik Williams, well till Erik became Erik "The Flase start" Williams.

After watching it, you can't help but pull for him. When he talked about why he was doing it, I frowned the whole time. Cuz it did seem dumb.
He compared it to being a lineman. Said he wanted to be the best lineman. That people KNEW Nate Newton, the football player. He talked about applying the same dedication towards this. Said he wanted them to KNOW Nate Newton. He wanted to be the Man. You had to hear him say it, cuz I was like "huh?"
Talked about how he was gonna try and pay off the first cop who pulled him over. Obviously didn't work.
Nothing from the interview lead me to believe that he wants to do it again. I did think that he's still searching for direction in his life. He's trying to find his way.

You know, I read an article, few months ago, pretty much similar to what you posted from the interview you saw. I just got the feeling, he might still do it, if tempted enough. Or maybe the wording were not right in that article.
But he did seem like, he had no one to blame but himself. Still seemed like the Jovial Nate Newton in that article somewhat. I hope I will catch that this sunday.

Actually it has been reported here in Dallas area or at least on Radio. I believe Irvin attended a game too, I think right around the time when he was suspended from ESPN.

He's the top rated sophomore in the country.
6 foot 157 pounds runs a 4.3 40 started at RB for the best high school team in the country.

Yeah, I heard he is highly regarded, didn't know about timings and weights etc. I guess Big Ole Newton hopes he erases his bad name.

I've seen his son in school a few times, but we don't have any classes together. Every once in a while I guess. He seems to be the real deal though. Southlake is crazy about football, and from the games that I've seen him, he's played very well.
