:starspin I will not believe the 'Skins are in cap hell, until the close of the NFL business day on Friday. Too many times have they been reported to be in cap trouble, only to find ways to circimvent the cap (someway). Don't be surprised if a deal IS reached at the 11:59 hour.

I feel this way too. I refuse to entertain the idea until it actually happens.

I disagree. In previous years, most of the reporting was that if they continued on the same path they would eventually end up in cap hell. For the past 3 or 4 years, everybody has known that they were over the cap but could easily restructure and push more money out to the future. Thats exactly what they did every year and most people took the position that it would eventually catch up to them. Well, it looks like that might finally happen.

I refuse to comment on this matter any further, untill that glorious morning that I awake to, and discover that the foreskins have cut 13 players, cant sign any FA's, and scratching their heads on how they can even sign their draft pics.
Until then, I expect to hear an announcement that will relieve the Skins of their cap woes, somehow or someway,,,,, Tags always finds a way to bail out his boy.

Exactly 22!!!!!!!!!!!!! With no new CBA, Danny has no place to hide all that bonus money he shelled out. He can't restructure a deal for 5 more years when he only has 2 left under the current terms.

Just came back from Extreme skins and man, I think its starting to sink in over there. They are facing a very serious situation. Oh the joys of reading redskins whine about how unfair it is. I am really going to love watching the redskins suffer and cu players and field 20 rookies just to have enough pple on the team.
