There is nothing I would take from ES besides that scoreboard. The amount of members makes it a pain to read and the color scheme sucks. Our smilies are better too...

this layout sux, very plain..........I use Mozilla so I have no prob reading stuff?.....the color scheme....B & G are to two best colors baby......

As for the smilies....no contest......while you have a more animated selection.....we have a ton more .....ES actually had to cut some......I think we have 255 now?

We have probably close to 100 we chose not to use here... all animated... we figured that a smiley is not needed when a member here needs to go pinch one off...

You guys do have some posters I respect a great deal, but they are in the minority...

how come everyone is being weird today? Because many people have been waiting for years for the hammer to fall on the Redskins salary cap situation and they felt the "day" had finally arrived only to have the NFL swoop in and save them (not my opinion).

Personally, I predicted this exact scenario would happen .. both sides, players and owners, would wait for each other to blink .. neither side would and at the last minute an extension would be made to allow a deal to get done. I had a poll up about it in fact.

A lot of people don't realize that the reason the Cowboys experieced a "cap hell year" was because players with huge signing bonuses retired or were cut early in those contracts. On top of that, the Cowboys chose to take one big hit rather than split it over two years by holding off on those cuts/retirements until after June 1st. No team that was competitive the season before and feels like they can compete in the upcoming season would do something like that. The Cowboys knew their team wasn't going to be good that year so it was better to go ahead and get it over with in one swoop. The only other team to ever do that I believe was the 49ers for the same reason .. bad team, no reason to delay the inevitable.

I throw that up because you are treated pretty well here, then all of the sudden we are "second rate"...

There is no "pity party" here as we are privy to a MUCH superior franchise as opposed to yours...

I visit ES quite often, and frankly I am regulalry surprised by the lack of knowledge of your teams' history... I don't pretend to be an expert on skins knowledge in regards to history, but I bet I know more than half of the fan base over there...

Interesting about the little shot at "when we were only 4k"... IF you had done your research, you would find that this "little ol' Cowboys site" regularly has the same number of members online, and we have, I believe, eclipsed your peak members online at one time...

You guys have 50k+, we have 5k, but yet we match or eclipse your max members active at one time...

Now... tell me... who exactly has the fair-weather fans? ;)

When I said weird I was referring to EVERYONE all day at work, school and online.....

I don't feel like I'm attacking anyone, I just feel like I walked in a door and was shoved up against a wall immediately.....

I knew about the "active members thingy" becuase you guys had a post on it a while back......I think most people though on ES sign up , see tough it is to post something that isn't a repeat and leave.......unless they only are there for nag's cartoons.....

my bad If it seemed like I snapped though:) I didn't really type anything with an attitude , I just was confused why everyone was all bipolar today then when I go the other place where people can't be dumb to my face and I get involved in this.....

later.......It wasn't left field at all actually. You came in calling our site primitive. Name me another site that has 3 custom backgorund colors and then choices of graphics. That's primitive but 1 constant color scheme is state of the art? On top of this we have custom avatars not generic stuff. Overall, this site is very fan friendly. It isn't anywhere close to primitive, and it isn't anywhere close to being all we can do with it either.

"Disappointing" fit the situation from our end.
