March 14

Time to turn the page, officially. The Eagles have terminated the contract of wide receiver Terrell Owens (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/1290) before they had to pay him a $5 million option bonus. Owens now is a free agent, available to shop himself to any team in the league. The teams expected to pursue him include the Dallas Cowboys, the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.

He should get some of Rosenhaus' cut.Okay, I will not reveal the source of this. About a month or so ago a well known poster on this forum who works in Dallas got to meet Michael Irvin. He said Michael believes we are TO away from being a real contender and he think TO will behave here because he knows he's burned bridges. So far everything he said in that PM to me has come true. I think Irvin is doing exactly as you say.

Please don't anyone ask his identity. It's his business to reveal himself if he wishes.

It may not be that much of a secret--Irvin has said (loudly) on ESPN that TO will put the Cowboys, or Denver, into the Super Bowl. He did everything put actually put a jersey on TO himself.

Eagles release headache OwensAssociated Press

PHILADELPHIA -- Terrell Owens is free to play for any team willing to have him.

The Philadelphia Eagles released the exiled Owens on Tuesday, ending a tumultuous, two-year relationship with the wide receiver.

Owens was due a $5 million roster bonus on Wednesday, so the Eagles had to cut him or trade him before then to avoid paying him the money.

Just info from a guy who, for a very long time, has been saying we were going to sign T.O. He told me recently that Jerry's had a deal in place with Rosenhaus.

He's also called a lot of other things correctly, so we shall see.

i saw that clayton bit on ESPN News. he predicted TO and agent rosenhaus would sit back for about a month to see if Denver, KC and our Cowboys would drive up the market on the guy.

those who absolutely require TO on our upcoming roster better hope he's already settled on Dallas - or this could get ugly expensive.
