March 14, 2006 -- With no offer from the first two teams he visited, linebacker LaVar Arrington is preparing to make more trips as free agency rolls on and he searches for a new place to play.
Arrington stopped by Giants Stadium over the weekend and yesterday his agent, Carl Poston, said, "I don't know if the Giants thing is going to work out or not."

The Giants often pounce on their targets when they like what they see, but they have taken a more deliberate approach with Arrington. Poston said Arrington enjoyed his visit with the Giants, adding "It's hard not to like New York."

Postons...I don't think he's coming here.

He should have kept his mouth shut and maybe he could have been a Cowboy. Hey LaVar, what kind of idiot doesn't want to play for a team with a ton of cap space?

Doesn't Cleveland have cap space still? Maybe thats why they didn't pickup McGinest. Plus they already got a classic Poston client.

Last I heard, he was pretty close to signing w/ the Bengals. Since his old defensive coordinator is their head coach.

I thought they had a rough relationship

Lewis wouldn;t take him, after he left DC Lewis called arrington the most undicisplined player he ever coached

Yep, don't think he's coming here. Sadly. All of the Poston's clients aren't even getting visits because they've priced themselves out of the market.

I think that quote has been greatly exaggerated, if not outright made up.

Parcells hates dealing with the Postons, and will avoid it at all costs, so I doubt LaVar was even on our radar, even before he made that recent comment about not wanting to put on the star
