protect Drew Bledsoe PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!. This is my biggest fear and the recent signings are not making me feel any better. especially if we plan to replace LArry Allen with this Kosier kid. Even worse we have this FAbini Character aging replacing Pettiti.
How do you guys feel about this?- I still think we need another big name Offensive LInemen.
Bledsoe can lead T.O to his best statistical season ever, but without a good Oline forget about it.

Personally, I feel that Fabini and Pettit are going to share the duties--perhaps 75% - 25% of the plays early in the season--and then the youngster will see more playing time. It will help solidify the line and help with a now healthy (fingers crossed) Pettiti this season.
The jury's still out on Kosier replacing Allen.

The only thing LA has on Kosier is sheer power. In reliability, stamina, and movement skills its all Kosier. LA just isn't the same player any longer.

What ever the Rt and LG situation may be in the near future, one thing is for sure- Rob Pettiti will not improve fast enough to be a Starting RT for the COWBOys. Drew Bledsoe is a slinger, but like we all know he is not very mobile. That puts a HUGE spot light on the Offensive line, and in my opinion we cant be toying with the possability of starting mediocre players.
This should be the lineup:
Flozell Adams-LArry Allen- Gurode/Draft pic- MArco rivera- Kosier

My biggest fear is that once TO starts rising to the occasion and scores TDs, the D-fans will embolden him, he'll get emboldened-and the whole "Me" crap will start all over again sometime in the future.
Same thing happened in Philly-the org, media, and fans fell in love with him-all but giving him the keys to the ignition to their big city.

Hopefully that won't happen because:
1. He knows this is his last contract and opportunity to make some real money
2. In Philly, he wasn't getting paid what he was worth as one of the best WR in the game. Was he stupid in signing the deal especially after the players organization told him not to, YES! But, I am hoping that is why he won't act up here.
3. He will always be full of himself, its just how will he control that in regards to the locker room and during the game. I think the first two reasons mentioned might make him tone it down or at least act accordingly.

What happened to our ability to draft OLmen? What happened to the days of finding Erik Williams in the 4th round?
Larry Allen in the 2nd round turns into a World Beater.
Flo in the 2nd round solidifies the LT.
All our recent OL picks, including the high ones, have been bunk. What gives? Soloman Page, Jacob Rogers, Andre Gurode, Stephen Peterman? Those were all prime picks wasted.

I'm concerned with either Gurode or Al Johnson starting. Johnson gets manhandled, and if I'm not mistaken, I remember Gurode always having issues with the handoff to the qb.

Praying has got nothin' to do with it. Jerry has make two very good free agent signings on the offensive line. I expect to get Flozell Adams back and full strength and perhaps one or two more additions by FA or the draft. The pieces look like they are coming together, I love the Fabini signing..
