That's what every cowboys fan wants. An 0 -16, or 1 - 15 record would take the cake, but having a pick in the top 15 is a more realistic view. What are Buffalo's weaknesses? do they have a strong schedule?

PLaying the dolphins and patriots twice makes it pretty tuff.

Well.....

They have absolutely no talent whatsoever on their roster

They just changed their entire coaching staff, and their new coach is former Steelers OC Mike Mularkey.

Annnnnd they play the super bowl champions TWICE.

Good move, Jerruh.

With our luck they probably win the super bowl and we pick in the 32nd slot next year......

The schedule actually looks pretty tough but it's impossible to tell this early.

They have a good D...and although Bledsoe isn't what he used to be, he's still got something left.

McGahee comes back this year....who knows how well though...but if he is anywhere near his college form, that's a big boost for them.

They did strengthen themselves at WR which they needed to do.

I guess we all have a new second favorite team...whichever one is playing the Bills.

I hope they finish last in the NFL and Mike Williams isn't aloud in the supplemental draft and returns to USC. :)

But new coaching staff, new system, losing their top corner, and the possibility of a rookie QB starting....who knows.

Couple that with a tough schedule in an even tougher division - I'd say they're looking at 9-7 at best.

5-11 is highly possible for them. If you think about their lack of talent, new staff, and tough schedule, it could really make for a long year the Bills, and an even longer off season when they realize they have to give us their top 10 pick :D

Buffalo picked 13th this weekend and there is no reason to think they can improve on that this year. I am quite certain everybody will be very happy to have the 13th pick next year if it worked out that way.

Too bad, because being from NY I see many Bills games. I did root for them in the past when they aren't playing the boys. Not this year!!

Good analysis Juke.

3 additional points...

1. Their offensive line is not good and they really didn't upgrade it through FA or the draft. Remember Bledsoe is a statue at this point of his career.
2. They still do not have a good pass rush. Williams and Adams clog the middle but they can't get off the line of scrimmage.
3. Might be the only team in the league with both a QB and RB controversy. If they start poorly watch Bledsoe get benched, which of course will do nothing but help the Dallas cause.

Lee Evans, though he was a reach and there was much better receivers than him, should be able to replace Peerless Price. Every other year Eric Moulds goes to the Pro Bowl, and this year is another "other" year. Their running game is going to be great with Henry or McGahee. Bledsoe is still great no matter what people say. To add to all of that, they brought in one of the best offensive minds in the league. Their defense will probably be as good as it was two years ago, though. Gregg Williams was good for that defense IMO.

They have to play the Jets (with Pennington this time), Patriots, and Dolphins this time. Their home game against Miami is in the early part of the season this year, so they don't get that unique advantage (not like it did any good last year). I think there is a very rare chance they make it out of the bottom of the division.

There are too many ways you can spin teams in this part of the year. You have to wait until training camp. I think worst case is a top 15.

BTW, Jerry said in the post game press conference that Bill was thinking about where the Bills draft pick would end up ten times over in his head. Jerry also said that this would give them the ability to trade up next year and get a great player.

Plus they play the jets twice, and they were only bad because Pennington wasn't there for most of the season.

I agree with you. It seems we've been spoiled with top 10 picks the last couple of years with guys that immediately came in and made a difference.

Hopefully, we'll end up with a top 10 pick again and have somebody that makes an immediate impact.

I think a year from now, everybody will be pleased.
