What are the odds that..the first MNF

will be Dallas at Philly? or should i say SNF? it may not be the 1st game of the year, but im willing to bet it will happen at sometime during the season, and will be the highest rated game of the regular season.

I'd say it would be a pretty safe bet that at least one of our games with Philthy will be on MNF. My guess would be the game IN Philly.

If anything I hope it's the Thursday night game or the Sunday night game because once September comes around I just wanna see my Cowboys on opening weekend. I hate having to sit through Sunday and a boring Monday waiting to watch them in week 1.

The NFL has pretty much stated that that opening Thursday night game will be a home opener for the winning super bowl team. Since we don't play the Stealers this year, we won't be on.

It will be a primetime game most certainly (at least one of them).

But no way will it be the first game of the season (thursday), nor will it be the first weekend. Now second week ? Thats a different story.

I actually would not be surprised if it is the first Sunday or Monday Night football game, but in Dallas. Then the story will be about how the Cowboy fans feel about TO and him playing his old team.

You are correct they did say that. To show a double header the first game needs to start so early the west coasters would miss it and the late game would start so late the east coasters would miss it. I know that is what they said, but I don't really believe them.

IMO, the bigger game will be Dallas/Philly IN Dallas. Why? TO's eturn to Dallas, what will he do when he scores his first TD? How will the crowd react?

The past 2 have been with NE I believe, so you are probably coorect it will be the STEALers, and their band of striped refs.

We may get the Sunday or Monday night, maybe against the Redskins or the Eagles, tough call. They may put the Eagles game first, because of all the hype. Or if they take the chance and wait 4 to 6 games, hoping we both do good, then play it up as not only the TO game, but also, a game that could decide the front runner for the NFC East. But ratings will be high as the season and hype begins.

So, who really cares, I just want the season to start.

I am a cow fan and a spurs fan and the great thing about football is i can watch all or most cow games but with NBA spurs games there are 82 and i cannot even watch all the playoff games because they ptu them on rich peoepls tv

that said what made MNF speacial is everyone national saw it now that it is on espn I doubt we will be loaded up on MNF games
