I think it was Hitzges asking about a possible extention for Drew Bledsoe. At least that is what was said at another board.

Norm had Steven Jones on the ticket a little while ago and ended the interview by asking if the Cowboys had plans to renegotiate Drew Bledsoe's contract for which Steven replied "no".
After coming back from commercial Norm begins to question this and seemed as if he was making a bigger deal out of this than it should have been. For freakin sake, Bledsoe is under contract for two more years and he is already 34years old. It was just irritating hearing Norm try and stir up controversy where there really shouldn't be any. Just venting my frustration

not sure. I heard stephen jones interview after norm went on a 10 minute diatribe of why bledsoe should get an extension that was the contract they were talking about.
norm asked stephen if they were discussing a new contract with bledsoe and he said no they are not..
norm was waiting for stephen to get out of a meeting to come on the air.

Norm just was talking with SJ. Not about any ongoing contracts, just the normal ?'s
SJ said back in November, they (JJ, SJ, BP) started internal discussions off and on about TO.
No contracts negotiations going on, or planned to redo Drew's contract. Nothing determined about restructuring LA's.
Kozier brought in because they like his versatility, and the fact he can play RT.
Key's release was business. Key indicated he would not play under his current money conditions, and his release had nothing to do with TO. It was why pay on mil. bonus for someone that may be an issue and may not play.

To me this is the difference btween Dallas and Philly.
Dallas released Key as per his wishes and Philly basically told TO to shut up and play like that would actually work.
I'd actually be quite glad to have KJ back here after he guages his market value but it was HIS decision to be on the street not the teams.

Yes, and this is why I believe JJ when he says that TO and the Dallas Cowboys has a chance of working. JJ's hands on style has sometimes been a detriment in the past but in TO's case, I think it just might be a positive.

I agree.
Jerry Jones has a bit more of an open door policy than either Lurie or the Yorks did.
Not to mention that I believe Coach Parcells is a bit more hands on than either Reid or Mariucci, who appear to like to delegate leadership roles to the players.
