Adam Schefter, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/77/nfl">NFL Network, reports the Dallas Cowboys (http://www.kffl.com/team/14/nfl) have some interest in free agent PK Mike Vanderjagt (http://www.kffl.com/player/855/nfl) (Colts).

No more time to be picky - bad kickoffs or not, we need Vanderjagt or Brown. Davis and Hannam will be on special teams now so who cares if his kickoffs are bad.

I am definitely interested. It sounds as though the Cowboys are competing for his services with New England now. Say what you want about him kicking in a dome, but he is the NFL's most accurate kicker of all time. In his nine year career, he has only ever missed 8 field goals of less than 40 yards.

I am not worried about "clutch" at this point, I am worried about consistent.

As I've said for awhile now, I just believe that Vanderjagt will be our kicker.

Get it done Jerry. We've been waiting long enough. But I'm sick that we will also need add a kicker just for kick offs since Vanderjagt's are inadequate. It means we have 1 less opening available to fill with a player we really want/need instead of a kick off artist. Does anybody remember if Sushim was any good at kicking off?

Did the foreskins cut Hall? I remember seeing something about him, but didn't pay much attention.

Anyway, wouldn't that go away from the skins M.O. this season... sign 2nd and 3rd stringers to huge contracts? Shouldn't they be going after Jose Cortez or Suisham or Cundiff?

Here's my concern if we DON'T get Vanderjagt.

Right now, it seems like Vanderjagt, Mare, Brown, etc. could all be options.

But if Vanderjagt signs with, say, New England, then Olindo Mare is not going to be available -- leaving only Brown who, since he's restricted, isn't even fully "available." I don't like our chances of Seattle not matching for Brown, since they would also realize there are no alternatives available.

Couldn't perform for the Boys when needed, why should we sign them? Also, Hall is still on the roster.

This is what I said early on in FA. Then a bunch of posters started writing "Just calm down, we don't need to sign someone just so that we can say we did."

Hello Cundiff...:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
