- Emmit says he does not miss playing
- Irvin misses the game.
- Troy says he just misses winning. The last few years were not good.

LOL...joke. Emmitt was going through the things he missed, and he went through things like camaraderie, etc....then said, "And with all that, I miss getting paid."

Like Troy's breakdown of TO and #1 WR situation
That was excellent. He elaborated on how he was amazed upon watching 49ers game tape as an analyst that Owens was often in routes 1-on-1 and still wasn't an automatic option for Garcia. Said he didn't excuse Owens's outbursts over the years, but that he could understand given that there was not a route in our playbook where Irvin was isolated on a corner and he wasn't the automatic option on the play.

Now this is the Troy I love. He is passionate and sincere. Nothing manufactured about him at all. Totally different than what he sounds like in the broadcast booth.

Makes alot of sense, huh? Said Michael never had to get in his ear about getting the ball more, because ANY time Michael was 1 on 1, on ANY route, the ball was going to him.
Gosh I miss those guys.

Michale said his mind misses the game but his body does not. He had to have an MRI this morning. Troy said being a broadcaster helps ease the yearnings. Michael agreed.

I thought that was the most interesting part, too... I wonder if that's a WCO thing?
Hopefully Parcells will see it Troy's way and let Drew go whereever he wants with it... And as much as he went to Glenn even when he was covered last year, I'd assume that's the case. ;)

I remember the announcers commenting on how we had our 3rd DB covering TO in the slot and Garcia didnt even look his way. I was grateful too he was wideopen for a big gain on the replay.

I didn't take it quite that literal. Everybody likes getting paid. He said that now "you eat what you kill". It takes a little longer to get paid in the business he's in now. Which, in my mind, is only human nature. You go from having your money literally being handed to you by playing a "game" to working "12 hours per day" owning your own businesses. Big difference. He didn't come across as a money hungry pig to me.

lol I was just joking Sportsbabe.. and using that as an excuse to poke fun at the ridiculous rap songs that flood MTV/VH1's countdowns nowadays
(as opposed to ACTUAL hip hop such as Wu Tang Clan etc)
