No.. both the redskins and Giants have made improvements as well and both were better than us last year. We have a great chance. but until we put it up on the field.. we are no where near the favorites,, not in my book anyway.

I think the main player Seattle has lost is Hutchinson.
Though they gained Peterson. And Hamlin is ready to participate in TC, etc. according to KFFL.
Seattle should be able to shore up any weak points in the Draft.
I think they should still be a good team in the NFC.
Carolina added some decent guys as well in FA, so they should be tough as well.

I don't know about you guys, but to me, the o-line is terrible. Especially Center.
With improvements needed at Center and one guard, the middle will continue to produce nada!
I love the Cowboys, but right now the teams to beat in the NFC are Carolina, Seattle and NY Giants. Even the Redskins are really improved, and they kicked our tails twice!
Almost, not yet though. Maybe in a couple of moves and an EXCELLENT draft.

The Cowboys have passed the Giants, but not the Seahawks, Panthers, or Redskins.
The Vikings, Falcons, Cardinals are greatly improved.
The Bucs and Bears will only improve as their young players have more experience.
If Bulger stays healthy, I think the Rams will be solid with their additions.
The Wild Card chase is going to be crazy in the NFC.

What additions? O line still very scary and not in a good way. And TO?

I disagree. Our team was good enough to win 12-13 games last year we just lost due to missed field-goals, etc. Our team is young and coming together, and with the additions of a TO level player, pro-bowl kicker, and some of the other signings, we are definitely ahead of all the other teams in the NFC. Not saying we will get to the Super Bowl because there's alot of randomness but we have to be the favorites.

Giants have to be. Manning will get a little better and they had a strong team to begin with, though they underperformed in the playoffs. Redskins will be tough, but with Brunell still in they are destined to have Campbell starting at some point next year. The boys have to address the oline from here on out. We need to sweep the Eagles, split w/ the rest of the east and take care of teams at home (Hou, NO,Det, TB, Indy) and we should be the wildcard.

I could seriously see a case being made for various NFC teams making the Superbowl. The problem is I dont see a solid case being made for any NFC team winning the Superbowl other than an Any Given Sunday kind of way.

But to be fair, look at the injuries they had, like at the RB position last season.
They are a very well coached team, IMO. A team that can play through injuries and win.

i don't buy all the favorites stuff. you never know from season to season who will come out of top. not many teams have any depth so injuries have a huge impact. right now i would say every team in our division is better and it will be a long hard battle all season

If the Panthers sign Key to go opposite Steve Smith where they can't triple cover him I would think they are going to be a tough out. That is if Deshaun Foster can stay healthy at RB for an entire year.

Seattle has added some firepower and until further notice, they are the Conference bully.
Carolina is still very good. Atlanta can improve, Tampa as well.
I think the Bears might have been a 1 year wonder, but if not that is a good D.

You don't want to get into the pro-bowl. It wasn't a cheap shot, except to people who want it to be.
I just pointed the horse-collar thing out because Taylor still does it, just like Roy still does it, all within the rules. But Skins fans are sooooo anxious to call Roy a dirty player, while assigning god status to Taylor. Makes me laugh.

So, according to this... the Cowboys have twice as good a chance of getting to the super bowl as the redskins do. Done by the people in Vegas who set odds for a living. Yet every skin fan in this thread says Dallas isn't as good as washington.
Didn't one skin fan say that it was Seattle, Carolina and washington... and then everyone else below those three? Talk about wishful thinking. :laugh2:

Sooner or later Brunnel will go down- with his injury history and his age (36) its just a matter of WHEN. And WHEN that happens the skins season ends.
Actually very simple- even a foreskin fan should be able to figure that out.

Seattle and NY Giants are my bet for the NFC. We aren't close to contenders yet in the NFC East unless we do a superlative job in the draft. We have some lunch buckets from FA but need at least 2 playmaker/starters from the draft to be mildly competitive. The DA is ok, the offence stinks. Still.

I think that it would be fair to say that Dallas is the team to look for out of the NFC.
By just adding the most accurate kicker in the NFL, the Cowboys are a legit contender.
When you also add the best WR in the NFL, well, now you are talking about a tough team to beat.

NOT EVEN CLOSE YET! Give me some quality offensive linemen and a true pass rush and free safety, then we'll talk. Also alot depends on how Bledsoe meshes with T.O.. That is a total unknown at this point, even though I'm optimistic it will work out, you just never know.... too many uncertainties with our team. I do like that we got a decent FG kicker now but to put us at the top of the NFC is way too premature at this point.

Look, everyone has those games. We lost our 5 games (6th was a blowout, doesnt get counted)by a total of 19 points. What about the games that you maybe "shouldnt" have won. All Im saying is that it works both ways, great teams will win them more often than not. Btw, I am not commenting anything about your moves this year or not, im only talking about last year.
Its going to be very close, but I dont think these teams in the NFC are legit elite teams yet. I think the NFC's good teams are just as good as the Jags in the way that they will win the games they should, but its going to be hard for them to beat the Indys and Pats and even Pitts. So, like someone said, whoever is healthiest is going to do the best, unless there is a Tom Brady/ Ben situation in Campbell where Brunell goes down and JC is this amazing player.
