View Full Version : Which rookie?
Which rookie in the draft will make the biggest impact this year?
I think it will be Roy Williams (detroit), he is going to be a playmaker

With Charlie Rogers I dont think Roy Williams will seem to make that much of a impact. I say DeAnglo Hall, with the Falcons secondary last year I think he will make a huge impact.

If he doesn't we are in trouble.
Roy William is my choice for the rookie that makes the biggest impact this year.

I would tend to agree with you, but he played for Texas.
That's Texas. You know, top talent every year, no national championship in decades.
Yeah. Texas sucks until they prove otherwise.

I don't think this is such a reach.
He, in all probability, will be our opening day starter. And Bill Parcells likes to control the clock. So if he shows any ability at all, he very well could be the *gasp* focal point of our offense.
The only other guy on offense that I can see having a huge impact is maybe Winslow. But I doubt he will be their focal point. R. Williams will be just one of ALOT of young talent in Detroit. E. Manning, if rumors are true of the Giants cutting Collins, could. But he will very likely struggle if called on to start. S. Jackson may shine in spots. But that's just it. He's not putting M. Faulk on the bench.
After further thought, possibly Reggie Williams in SF. But I see R. Barlow getting a TON of work to try and protect their young QB and WR's.
On defense, the difference makers will probably be someone like S. Taylor, K. Udeze, or W. Smith. I don't see either of the DT's makeing a big statistical splash, as the Bears and Patriots call on their DT's to be "pluggers" first.
When all is said and done, it very well could be some "no nam" from the later rounds.
Dominick Davis, anybody?
EDIT: Don't forget about T. Bell in Denver..... He might start over Q. Griffith, and we all know how RB's do in Bronco land.

I agree, Herm..uh, H.H..uh LaTunaNostra! :D
Taylor should prove to be a nice addition, but I wasn't looking forward to KW2 in the redzone, much less anywhere else on the field.

Larry Fitzgerald. He is more advanced the RW right now in route running and catching the ball. He also has a solid offensive coach and a WR across from him that isnt injured.... and unlike Detroit Zona needs to pass alot as they have no Kevin Jones type back.
I say Kevin Jones will have a great oppurtunity to show case his skills all the way to rookie of the year! I really hope that this is not the case since we passed on him. Gooooo Julius!
