My choice for 18, or a move down to 22 is;is A. Cromatie.
He would make our defense very hard to beat. Three first rate corners stops the pass happy NFl. The extra 2 seconds that it will take for the opposing QB to look for option 2,3,4 will give us more sacks & pressures. Cromatie if he had stayed a year longer would have been a top 12 draftee next year. I would start him as the nickel back that move Henry to safety.Plus are we not forgetting that K. Burnnet was very highly rated, he is on the same learning curve as James?

henry makes too much money to play free safety the nfl is just as much a business as a sport and thats bad business to consider henry a fs for the money we paid him.

Talent and potential wise, it is hard to argue with you. However, it scares me to take a chance on a player with the type of injury he is coming back from--as we know it can take two full years to be 100 percent again.

You know, nothing personal against you stealth, but I'm not sure this is the case anymore. FS is almost becoming another CB position nowadays...With all of the 3 WR sets and pass happy NFL rules in place.
The line is thinning there between the 2 positions.

Cowboys signed Marcus Coleman for a reason and resigned Keith Davis for a reason.
I wouldn't be mad if we drafted Cromartie but, I like Manny Lawson overall @ that 18th pick.
We come better off trading Greg Ellis, next season 2nd round, and this year third round off for Ed Reed.
Draft Rodrique Wright in the second round....

I don't see it happening though. The kid is really good. I'd still say OLB is our 1st round move.
