I got up early this morning and started running my errands. I went to get ground beef, rolls, swiss cheese, and bleu cheese for the bleu cheese burgers. Went to get a case of Rolling Rock bottles with two bags of ice (the official Draft Day beer). Also, take a trip out of the way to get Little Caesars pizza that is only available in select areas here in Central Pennsylvania. Oh, last night I picked up the industrial size bottle of Captain Morgan's Private Stock for the party goers. Only the best for my draft day guests!

Now watch the draft eat good food and have some drinks on this glorious Saturday afternoon.

Go COWBOYS!!!

Reading the 548th thread on the Zone that asks "What are your draft day traditions/habits/routines/etc.?" :D

Wife is having a BBQ with some of her friends.

I'm locking myself in the den to watch the draft. I'm coming out only to eat and for B-room breaks. :)

But only today does anybody care what they are.

Beat the wife and kids, so they'll leave me alone for the next 8 hours straight. Lock myself in the media room and call it a day.

Red beans (heavy garlic and onions) and rice.

I like the taste and it insures that I'll be left alone.

Checking the net (Cowboyszone), watching the draft on TV, and listening to the radio. Everything else (eating) is secondary... DIEHARD!!!

Up early (after taking day off from work) help the wife out around the house. Took care of the groceries yesterday. I make ultimate nachos w/chix,ground beef, cheese, sour cream and all the rest. And oh yea- don't forget Paul Newman's pineapple salsa. If you haven't tried it it's simply the best! And lots of Corona - hold the lime.:D

Usually I make some good football food, but I went to the Wizards/Cavs game last night and hit the bottle a little too hard, so food sounds about the worst thing in the world right now. :puke:

I usually give myself some job around the house to do that gives me good access to the TV, but keeps my wife from making snide comments about me watching the draft all day. I've been letting the kids get the basement messy all week so I can tell the wife I'm going to go clean it up all day. That should be good for the first round of the draft at least! :laugh2:

So, a question to a fellow Dr. Pepper lover. Have you tried and what do you think of the new Berries and Cream?
