I swear it seems as if they were reading my wishlist notebook.Ok I must admit though I am happy with Carp.

But didn't it seem that as though one of the players were going to fall in our laps and then boom Iggles stole them.I thin they have a spy in the Dallas office.kinda like when they stole the offensive lineman we wanted 2 years ago

I tend to agree. Time will tell if Winston Justice will work out.

It also seems as if all the players "targeted" for us keep getting gobbled up a pick or two ahead of us. Seems to me Jerry did some manuvering that kep putting him just behind teams that also wanted the guy were were targeting. But then Jerry usually does shoot himself in the groin w/ all of the trades he feels compelled to make...

So who in the Cowboys war room told you who they were targetting?

Hold it!!! The Eagles can't possibly have a better draft than us. We're the Cowboys.

Cowboys players are always better than any players on other teams.

Cowboy drafts are always perfect.

We hate the Eagles ... but instead of hating on them, maybe we should do a better job of upgrading our own talent.

Who says we didn't?

I like the Eagles draft picks alot. It's like Andy Reid is a subscriber to our forum and is grabbing the players we wanted. :bang2:

Did anyone check Eagle Talon's ID before he started posting here?

I believe that it his ID...lol

For them, it has been a good draft but for us I wouldn't like it. Bunkley is an explosive force, but he wouldn't take up blockers like we'd need from a NT. Justice is ok, though he'd still be sitting on the bench. Gocong is still raw, and would have a very rough time going from small-school DE to NFL SOLB.

Eagle had a decent draft.

Bunkley will anchor their DL. Winston was a steal in the 2nd round and will play RT immediately.

If you guys want to compare Hatcher to Richard Seymour, then Gocong is being compared to Dwight Freeney.

I thought the Eagles did well as usual
Eagles were the Eagles and the Skins were the Skins.

Dallas did OK , not great but Ok.
In my opinion Dallas did not make a big splash but took players that will not be boom or bust guys but solid NFL players...
Hope we help the OLine a bit tomarrow

Is that the same year we traded down because of it and ended up Spears, Jones etc.? Hmmm, yeah we got screwed there.

Not to argue, but I don't understand that last statement.

Our players can easily bust ... and Hatcher doesn't quite have "solid" NFL player written all over him.

Reminds me of when DET. prevented DALLAS from Gettin williams in the Draft. When DET. was ok in WR and did not need one. and BOOM they go after WILLIAMS, I trully think they did that just for dallas not to get him...

Maybe, but they were in a much better postion to draft well entering the draft. Now lets compare everything we did in this offesason.

I don't know. Bunkley is a good pick but I would take Carpenter over him. Justice may be a flop. Is their Cal Poly guy any better then our Grambling guy? I would say both drafts good right now. Not anything special for either though.

By far the Eagles have drafted better.

I think the Eagles have had a good draft. It is too early to say they have had a much better draft than us. Frankly, the Eagles were due for a good draft. Reid has a reputation for doing well in the draft but the last few have not been as productive for them.

Calm TFD everyone, They drafted a DT that only emerged through the combine, a OT that fell into the second round, and a DE/LB that has no upside; he won't get bigger or better. I wouldn't trade our vs. theirs.
Stop wussing out and trust BP!!!

The Eagles had a terrible draft last year by all accounts and I am sure people were concerned last year as well.

Bunkley looked good on film and they said he had Larry Allen type strenth, Good pick.

Justice had a "finesse" label before the draft and fell to round 2 Jacob Rogers the second?
Risky pick

Gocong was rated as a later round sleeper.
Risky pick.

Carpenter rated versatile can play all positions, unquestioned work ethic, high energy, productive in college, fast big and strong.
Solid pick

Fasano rated smart, tough, hard working, and most dominant blocker in draft class. Too many running plays broke down last year due to missed blocks by tight ends.
Solid pick

I know very little about our third round pick but he sounds like a hard working strong big player that could move into our rotation this year on the DL.
good pick?
