1) As a result of acquiring Fasano, Hannam now pushes Polite off the roster. Polite kept on roster through training camp as insurance in case Hannam gets hurt

2) Hatcher replaces the slow, unathletic Kenyon Coleman

3) Fasano replaces the departed Dan Campbell and provides
the TE complement to Witten. No.3 and No. 4 TE's kept on roster through training camp as insurance

4) Carpenter completes our 3-4 linebacking group

5) On day 2 we still have a chnace to acquire a free safety and backup nose tackle

We could have completed our LB corp with 3rd round OLB's. They're a dime a dozen. Unless Carpenter can turn into a stand-up edge rusher, he won't make an impact.

Fasano will be a double TE. Big deal.

Great, we drafted a backup to replace a backup at DE.

Sorry, I'm not buying this draft.

Add in the fact Jerry says weare going to the 2-TE offense as a base and it becomes clearer.

Pierce and the other TE we have are one-dimensional. Fasano can catch and block...

Great post. Nice to see someone who understand the big picture.

Eddie's unhappy. A Sure-Fire indicator that this will turn out to be great draft.
