I'm sure there is cable tv at the ranch. Why doesn't JJ just turn on ESPN when the Cowboys are on the clock and wait to see Kiper's list of the best available and just pick one of the top 3 guys. He could save millions and he would get an A+ draft grade from everyone every year. Not to mention 90% of Cowboys fans would be singing his praises with every pick. Who cares if the player even makes the team, JJ can just say everyone had the guy rated as the best player available and its not his fault. I honestly think some of you guys would be happier if this is what JJ did every year!

I would be happier if the team didn't ignore gaping weaknesses.
The same gaping weaknesses year after year after year.

Is the draft the only way to fix weaknesses? The season hasn't even started yet. Hell, the draft isn't over yet.

There are very few really good offensive linemen in a draft. The rest are pretty much hit or miss.

When you draft for need, you draft Quincy Carter, Ebenezer Ekuban, Larrimore, Goodrich, etc.....

I think I will trust Ireland and Parcells. I like the picks thus far. Why don't you just wait and see before you judge?
carpenter will be great. Fasano does fill a need. How about a blocking tight end? Witten is a horrible blocker!!!
I know nothing about Hatcher, but I bet the scouts do.

Needs in the offseason were FS, OL, LB, backup QB, WR game breaker and Kicker
Needs filled, WR game breaker, LB, kicker, some help on OL
Seems to me most of the needs have been met this year.
