Probably cuz he's no good and no one wants him.

Im really dissapointed in UT's lineman.. People were beggin for Johnathan Scott and Rodrique and they still are available in the 7th...

Wright? Why?

Our DL rotation is set with Canty, Ellis, Spears, Ratliff, Hatcher, Ferguson, Johnson, and Stanley.

I think we are deep there.

Anybody know why he's still available in the 7th round?I tried last year to tell anyone that would listen Wright was the most overated player in college football, lots of guys here on this forum wanted him in the first round last year if he would have come out early. Obviously he should have.

Wright has been overrated for a LONG time. The Texas DL will be better without him next year. Okam out played him big time last year.

Scott was drafted early second day by the Detroit Longhorns.

This also did not help Wright

Rod Wright, the All-America defensive tackle from the University of Texas, was informed Sunday afternoon he has a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder that played a role in his draft stock plummeting. Projected as a possible third-round selection, Wright had an extended wait before he was selected in the seventh round by the Miami Dolphins with the 226th overall pick.
