Now that the draft is over who do you think will lose their job??

1) Watkins will be a immediate impact and is a heck of a special teamer. Having said that my number one on the cut list is Terrance Copper and not to mention Skyler is a WR. Other safeties that could be on the block are Abram Elam, Willie Pile, Dixon, Scott.

2) With the addition of Carp Singleton will prolly stick around but Kalen could be in trouble. We are pretty set with LB so we could see some of the following get cut as well. Vontrell Jamison, Scott Shanle, Michael Barrow, Caver, Ogbogu

3) With the additional of a DE and considering the depth we have on the DL the next cuts could be Kenyon Coleman, Junior Glymph, Vontrell Jamison.

4) Having Crayton healthy and picking up Skyler will also make things interesting at WR. Tom Crowder, Rector, Tolver, Merritt.

5) Jerry said he will keep 4 TE and after drafting one we could lose the following Danny Young, Sean Ryan, Tony Curtis, Brett Pierce.

Witten?

Uh, no! Why would you say Witten?

I think his position as #1 TE will be up for grabs this season. If fasano outplays him Bill wont hesitate to make fasano the #1 tight end.

LB -- we got 10 -- Thornton Boiman SHanle Fowler Singleton all on bubble

DT - Thomas Johnson maybe

DE - Ratliff, Coleman

I agree with your others

OL -- the 7th rounders, and Colombo, Peterman

They will both be starters next season. The Cowboys will be running a two TE set.

Witten is a pro bowler.

Yeah I know that but theres still gotta be a #1 TE.

Witten is a pro bowler.

Which means nothing.

PoliteNo doubt. Must be disturbing to hear your owner announce that the Cowboys are going to the two TE set and basically do away with your position!

From my understanding, Fasano and Witten will both start and be involved in the passing game.

If we go with only 4 WRs, then Copper is on the outside looking in. If we go with 5 WRs, Copper makes it because of his play on STs. In fact Copper's STs play may force Parcells to go with 5 WR.

Yeah, all it means is he is one of the top TEs in the game.
Sure, Fasano could be better, but I wouldn't count on it.

I read this title and my first thought was the Denver OLine.

Then I re-read it and I was like ooooooooooh I see.

1. Cowboys carried 5 WRs last year (Glenn, Keyshawn, Crayton, Copper, Crowder), so I expect 5 again but will include Green this time. Crowder gets cut along with Tolver & Merritt but Jamiaca Rector might be interesting; Jones & Parcells both mentioned Rector's ability as PS player to play WR & CB. It might come down to Rector against Copper. At safety, Elam, Dixon & Scott were brought in because of injuries and won't be back. Pile also won't make it unless we have an injury but he is a good ST player.
2. Jamison, Barrow & Cavar will be gone & same goes for Ogbogu. Singleton stays 1 more year for vet leadership/experience. Will see what Thornton can do in TC but he's Ware's backup. Ayodele/James start & Boiman (good ST & plays all LB positions and we just signed him) is good backup; If healthy we'll see where Burnett plays but probably ILB along with Boiman. Both Shanle/Fowler on the bubble but 1 might be kept for insurance depending on Burnett/Thornton/Carpenter play.
3. Coleman, Glump and Jamison get cut.
4. As for TE, Witten & Fasano start with Hannan & 1 other TE as backups.
5. DT "Pepper" Johnson won't be cut; he along with Stanley will play behind Ferguson until one of them ready to step up as the starter--maybe 1-2 more years.

Boiman is a special teams menace he will be aroun, and singleton will be here just because hes a vet and the only guy behind carpenter who can play the SOLB spot. thornton and fowler are goners, Shanle has a slim chance of making it, he is below Polite.

We could maybe beat McQuistan's college team with this roster.
