I didn't know Ed Werder was with the DMN from 92-95? No wonder he usually reports on the Boys with espn.

Can you give us a recap please, i dont get nfl network in my area.I'll do the best I can, but I'm not Roshi or Trick. That's for sure. I kept getting caught up in the show. Sorry:)
Irvin
Irvin's segment was so moving. I was honestly touched. NFL Films was great.
They went thru his career, talked about how he got the Michael Irvin rule for offensive pass interference. Darrell Green talked about how he would watch film and see Irvin fighting DBs as soon as the ball was snapped.
Showed game footage, courtroom footage, lockerroom footage. The game footage was the best and the saddest. Irvin talked about how nervous he was during the first superbowl. He and Emmitt talked to each other, mentioning how they had butterflies. Talked about how large the crowd was.
They showed him on the field celebrating, making the touch catches, and they capped it with showing him on the field in Vet Stadium and mentioned how he paralyzed for 20 mins. That was just sad to watch.
They touched on his courtroom issues, but they didn't linger. Werder said Irvin was the one person who redefined the Cowboys from the glory years to worse years. (paraphrasing)
Showed Irvin throwing trash cans at the cameras in the lockerrom telling them to get out.
They interviewed Jerry, Emmitt, Troy, Irvin (of course), Darrell Green, Ed Werder.
Troy
Troy talked about the discipline he gained from his father. How he didn't play until the 8th grade. Showed footage of him as a kid.
Dalrymple was interviewed. Mentioned how Troy was sacked 11 times during the Eagles game.
He spoke on the first superbowl. How nervous he was and how he could breathe. Mentioned how he misfired on a 3rd down play to Irvin that finally snapped him out of it. Troy spoke on how 4 years earlier they were the worst team in the league and then now how they were in the Superbowl.
Talked about how they weren't as good as they used to be and they couldn't overcome the negative plays. How he'd come to the realization that the game wasn't the same for him. That his time was coming to the end.
The memory of the 1st superbowl was the event that stands out to him that defines his career, cuz it stood for team. How after he threw the final TD pass to Harper and he raised #1 sign was the first time he'd ever done that in his career. And just overall happiness and celebrations going on the sideline just really stands out to him.
Sorry I couldn't do more. Hopefully somebody TIVO'd it and can upload it.
